It's a somewhat new indie brand to my collection as of late last year. One night (maybe a few too many glasses of wine) I ran across these beautiful polishes. Since then I've been drawn to their unique creations. The maker is from Singapore and ships quickly internationally.<br />
<br />
My nail of the day is from their 2nd anniversary line, Mystical (H) which is a flakie polish in the holographic form. It shifts from blue, gold and green and is simply stunning. I layered one coat over one coat of black with a shiny top coat. After a day or two I usually transform this into a matte look which will also be as equally stunning.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p-iFDiyGd3g/Vgx_HEBMNuI/AAAAAAAAE5U/vAdbwT7MGOs/s1600/IMG_6012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="319" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p-iFDiyGd3g/Vgx_HEBMNuI/AAAAAAAAE5U/vAdbwT7MGOs/s320/IMG_6012.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This is hands down one of the most gorgeous flakie polish I own. I'm loving the holographic effect combined with flakes in this! Unfortunately right now it's sold out but if you follow F.U.N Lacquer on Instagram you can get updates on restocks.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-40428436075296645322015-09-21T15:03:00.000-07:002015-09-21T15:03:01.361-07:00Pear Nova Fall 2015It's been a busy summer! Fall is soon approaching and I'm excited for all the new collections. Today I have swatches and a review on Pear Nova's Fall 2015 line. This is a brand known for the best creme polishes on the market right now! <br />
<br />
The collection is inspired by fashion designer, Haider Ackermann. Check out a description of each polish after the collage.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JyfI5u5X0z8/Vf73S4jNJGI/AAAAAAAAFAE/0X4OsCxA-c8/s1600/PNF7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_317715="null" height="318" hva="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-JyfI5u5X0z8/Vf73S4jNJGI/AAAAAAAAFAE/0X4OsCxA-c8/s320/PNF7.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UCaVgKU0O14/Vf72itucCmI/AAAAAAAAE_4/M5Hbi-JUHDs/s1600/PNF6.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_317715="null" height="320" hva="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UCaVgKU0O14/Vf72itucCmI/AAAAAAAAE_4/M5Hbi-JUHDs/s320/PNF6.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Jaded Auras is a nice green creme. This was opaque in 2 coats and no top coat was needed for my swatch. This is the perfect transition color into the Fall from summer.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PX0VDirJBZY/Vf70a_lr3qI/AAAAAAAAE_o/tPL3q7jEv1A/s1600/PNF4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_317715="null" height="302" hva="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-PX0VDirJBZY/Vf70a_lr3qI/AAAAAAAAE_o/tPL3q7jEv1A/s320/PNF4.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Partially Nude is a clay, peachy nude. Again it was fully opaque in 2 coats and no top coat was needed.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kT1WSPPoik/Vf70NfHzJPI/AAAAAAAAE_U/-z-o9FpPUhU/s1600/pnF3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_317715="null" height="320" hva="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4kT1WSPPoik/Vf70NfHzJPI/AAAAAAAAE_U/-z-o9FpPUhU/s320/pnF3.jpg" width="292" /></a></div>
Glamher is a dense champange holographic glittter. This can be worn as a full manicure or accent nail. It took 3 coats to be fully opaque and the formula was amazing!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XAdwXr9PYjg/Vf75oTGr6QI/AAAAAAAAFAQ/1qxk3H0quAg/s1600/PNF8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_317715="null" height="308" hva="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XAdwXr9PYjg/Vf75oTGr6QI/AAAAAAAAFAQ/1qxk3H0quAg/s320/PNF8.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
U-Taupe-ia is the perfect, quintessential nude color for any lacquer collection. I love colors like these because not only are they on trend but they are very professional looking as I have a very corporate 9-5 career. It took only 2 coats to be opaque. The first coat was a bit sheer but the second easily made it opaque.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Bsn8D36WTUY/Vf70dTAUk4I/AAAAAAAAE_w/EVmRbMCowSI/s1600/PNF1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_317715="null" height="320" hva="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Bsn8D36WTUY/Vf70dTAUk4I/AAAAAAAAE_w/EVmRbMCowSI/s320/PNF1.jpg" width="293" /></a></div>
Lastly is The Violet Hour, a violet, creme that was fully opaque with 2 coats. The formula was a bit runny but not at all difficult to work with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Lgkb4jHkZqg/Vf70Xt2mElI/AAAAAAAAE_g/e5qV2tf2Pho/s1600/pNF2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" closure_lm_317715="null" height="320" hva="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Lgkb4jHkZqg/Vf70Xt2mElI/AAAAAAAAE_g/e5qV2tf2Pho/s320/pNF2.jpg" width="286" /></a></div>
<br />
The full collection is available <a href="http://www.pearnova.com/" target="_blank">here</a> for $45. Individual polishes cost $10 a piece and available for sale now. <br />
My favorite was Glamher, I can see myself using this around the holidays for the perfect accent nail manicure. Also The Violet Hour is the perfect color any season. I can't reiterate how pleased I've been with this line. These polishes are some of my favorite creme polishes and the formula and customer service of the brand keeps me coming back for more!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-7365158807875031582015-06-28T08:50:00.000-07:002015-06-28T08:50:36.321-07:00Zoya summer 2015 - Island Fun swatches & review Happy Sunday! Today I have half of Zoya's summer 2015 collection to share with you, Island Fun. This collection consists of 6 creme polishes. Creme polishes are by far my favorite finish and Zoya knows how to do a creme very well. Check out a description of each after the collage.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BmJcGXsz0yA/VZAK_nWkHnI/AAAAAAAAEmQ/10Z2MXbUQac/s1600/IMG_5842.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BmJcGXsz0yA/VZAK_nWkHnI/AAAAAAAAEmQ/10Z2MXbUQac/s320/IMG_5842.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Demetria is a red tomato creme. The formula was great, only needing 2 coats. It dried very shiny and no top coat was used for my photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-My2ErD5W5Wg/VZAKk4DRc6I/AAAAAAAAElY/G53tZRsbg4w/s1600/IMG_5832.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="305" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-My2ErD5W5Wg/VZAKk4DRc6I/AAAAAAAAElY/G53tZRsbg4w/s320/IMG_5832.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Talia is a bluish green creme. This color unfortunately stained my nails after only wearing it for a few minutes :( This along with Serenity from the collection remind me of Chanel's summer 2015 polishes. The formula was excellent and nearly opaque in 1 coat. I did use 2 however for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nG85LEqY9S8/VZAK5eVQelI/AAAAAAAAEl4/E6XD-7aPfmE/s1600/IMG_5836.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-nG85LEqY9S8/VZAK5eVQelI/AAAAAAAAEl4/E6XD-7aPfmE/s320/IMG_5836.JPG" width="319" /></a></div>
<br />
Serenity is a beautiful purple creme. I loved this one!!! I don't have any color like this in my collection so was happy to add it. It was opaque in just 2 coats and dried very shiny.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E2d6XK4wHYM/VZAK3ykPAgI/AAAAAAAAElw/IkpzR1KN5-g/s1600/IMG_5834.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="310" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E2d6XK4wHYM/VZAK3ykPAgI/AAAAAAAAElw/IkpzR1KN5-g/s320/IMG_5834.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Nana is a berry creme. This was my favorite from the collection. The formula was smooth as ever and simply amazing. I used 2 coats and no top coat for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_BpaOWTYsGg/VZAKmc4h-bI/AAAAAAAAElg/o0lS0wMjFzs/s1600/IMG_5833.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="308" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-_BpaOWTYsGg/VZAKmc4h-bI/AAAAAAAAElg/o0lS0wMjFzs/s320/IMG_5833.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Jace is a murky green creme. It was very sheer on the first coat but fully opaque in just 2 coats. This one reminds me of Tilda from last summers collection. If you have Tilda I don't think you'll need both. Again, another fabulous formula and dried super shiny.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gWhXVrqkr-E/VZAKTZvZSCI/AAAAAAAAElI/yxOOk-pJYNI/s1600/IMG_5831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gWhXVrqkr-E/VZAKTZvZSCI/AAAAAAAAElI/yxOOk-pJYNI/s320/IMG_5831.JPG" width="306" /></a></div>
<br />
Cecelia is a teal creme. Sadly this was another one that stained but the formula was the same, smooth and only needing 2 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RpkRfCcG4_g/VZAK7PMo4qI/AAAAAAAAEmA/L_JoSf519Mk/s1600/IMG_5840.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="311" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RpkRfCcG4_g/VZAK7PMo4qI/AAAAAAAAEmA/L_JoSf519Mk/s320/IMG_5840.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Overall I loved this collection. The formula was consistent across the board, self leveling and very creamy. I purchased this set on Zoya's website and they retail for $9 each.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-53747527645679820552015-06-25T13:17:00.000-07:002015-06-25T13:17:00.817-07:00Different Dimension 80's Baby All Gown Up Swatches and ReviewToday's collection describes me to the T! As soon as I saw these bright neons they reminded me of the late 80s. As a little girl I always loved playing with polish, specifically neons in the summer time. I immediately grabbed a few from this indie maker. Check out a description of each polish after the collage below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CJhnP4_DwTc/VYxX2K6519I/AAAAAAAAEko/SF4z3OQ1zxo/s1600/IMG_5826.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CJhnP4_DwTc/VYxX2K6519I/AAAAAAAAEko/SF4z3OQ1zxo/s320/IMG_5826.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Tubular 2.0 is a neon orange with a scattered holo effect. I used two coats plus top coat for the photo below. The formula on this one was pretty decent and it was my second favorite from my picks.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yuw1GnuwJks/VYxXu44kjXI/AAAAAAAAEkg/xjA1_ZkHFHg/s1600/IMG_5825.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="302" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yuw1GnuwJks/VYxXu44kjXI/AAAAAAAAEkg/xjA1_ZkHFHg/s320/IMG_5825.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Totally 2.0 is a yellow green with scattered holo and shimmer. This polish....is so pretty in the bottle but a pain to work with. It took 3 coats, some needing 3. It did not self level either. This along with all the polishes dried matte so you'll need a shiny top coat. I wanted to love this polish but sadly the formula was a big turn off.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FD41O8KnRq8/VYxXtGiAknI/AAAAAAAAEkY/sZt9UHAE6XY/s1600/IMG_5824.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="287" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FD41O8KnRq8/VYxXtGiAknI/AAAAAAAAEkY/sZt9UHAE6XY/s320/IMG_5824.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Whatever 2.0 is a purple neon holo shimmery polish. This too did not self level and took 2 coats for full opacity. I usually love purples but this one was just meh. The formula was a bit thick, but not too difficult to work with as Totally 2.0.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xCjYhD0uefo/VYxXrO9zAHI/AAAAAAAAEkQ/LJXeWffFGtw/s1600/IMG_5823.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="288" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xCjYhD0uefo/VYxXrO9zAHI/AAAAAAAAEkQ/LJXeWffFGtw/s320/IMG_5823.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Saving the best for last, Homeboy 2.0 is a blue holo with added shimmer. The maker describes this as a neon and it's kind of in the grey area for me. It does dry matte but it really isn't a neon in my opinion. Let's face it, have you ever really seen a neon blue polish? Anywho, this was hands down my favorite from my picks. The formula was amazing, only needing two coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Kpwmc_cLh_I/VYxXnCDaaRI/AAAAAAAAEkI/XWs2Ek4BT3A/s1600/IMG_5822.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="295" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Kpwmc_cLh_I/VYxXnCDaaRI/AAAAAAAAEkI/XWs2Ek4BT3A/s320/IMG_5822.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
These polishes are available <a href="http://differentdimensionpolish.bigcartel.com/products">here</a> and retail for $11.00 each.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-25307424116865660842015-06-24T09:49:00.001-07:002015-06-24T09:49:53.612-07:00Pear Nova Summer Duo 2015Hey polished lovers! Today I have a very untraditional post on one of my favorite indie polish brands, Pear Nova.<br />
<br />
In the past I have reviewed some of the most fabulous creme polishes I ever tried in life from this brand. So when I initially saw this duo I was a bit taken aback. Pear Nova has released a summer duo, consisting of two metallics. Check out a description of each after the collage.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--CgZX8iUZhc/VYre6nT_DWI/AAAAAAAAEjw/FF-tmV_DkCk/s1600/IMG_5817.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/--CgZX8iUZhc/VYre6nT_DWI/AAAAAAAAEjw/FF-tmV_DkCk/s320/IMG_5817.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Interstellar is a metallic silver. I used 3 thin coats for the photo below. If you have ever tried a metallic, you know how visible the brush strokes can be at times. However I found by applying thinner coats this one didn't show the strokes as much as other brands I've tried. The formula was great on this one as well, not too thick or thin and easily leveling out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jhGkYP1tNeU/VYrXbIPIstI/AAAAAAAAEjg/4NTGdSM9Pdc/s1600/IMG_5816.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jhGkYP1tNeU/VYrXbIPIstI/AAAAAAAAEjg/4NTGdSM9Pdc/s320/IMG_5816.JPG" width="259" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Space Suit Spray Tan is a gold metallic with very fine gold glitters throughout. This polish was so difficult to photograph. I think it's absolutely stunning on medium to dark skin as mine. I actually wore this polish for 4 whole days which was a surprise. It gives you a very elegant look and this would easily be my go to polish for the office. The formula was a bit thick, but not too difficult to work with. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0jKyKC4EMVg/VYrXV2dOTnI/AAAAAAAAEjQ/ajUgfgIX6MY/s1600/IMG_5814.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0jKyKC4EMVg/VYrXV2dOTnI/AAAAAAAAEjQ/ajUgfgIX6MY/s320/IMG_5814.JPG" width="270" /></a></div>
<br />
The summer duo is now available <a href="http://pearnova.com/">here</a> and retail for $20.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-60304913860221499642015-03-24T18:00:00.003-07:002015-03-24T18:00:59.574-07:00Orly Sugar High Collection Swatches & Review Hey guys. Today I have Orly's latest collection, Sugar High. Check out a description of each polish below the jump!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MOlJ6jqidPE/VRICUYi2cCI/AAAAAAAAEQA/SGwub-FnpLQ/s1600/IMG_5636.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-MOlJ6jqidPE/VRICUYi2cCI/AAAAAAAAEQA/SGwub-FnpLQ/s1600/IMG_5636.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Cake Pop is a white pink creme. It took 2 coats for full opacity. I loved this color on my skin tone.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QB340Iq8g_w/VRICJh6c-oI/AAAAAAAAEPY/aTwV8NhbQyE/s1600/IMG_5631.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QB340Iq8g_w/VRICJh6c-oI/AAAAAAAAEPY/aTwV8NhbQyE/s1600/IMG_5631.JPG" height="306" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Candy Shop is a mauve creme. The formula was a great. It took 2 coats for full opacity. Overall though this color was not very unique. I have so many colors like this in my collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sWceZhbC35k/VRICOeiYRRI/AAAAAAAAEPo/w5Y69Vc6A24/s1600/IMG_5633.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-sWceZhbC35k/VRICOeiYRRI/AAAAAAAAEPo/w5Y69Vc6A24/s1600/IMG_5633.JPG" height="304" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Frosting is a white creme shimmer. I didn't think I'd like this one too much but once I applied it on the nail it was real good. Another 2 coater for full opacity.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ht77g9IGH50/VRICQMUYyMI/AAAAAAAAEPw/P7MZZ1Q_65A/s1600/IMG_5634.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ht77g9IGH50/VRICQMUYyMI/AAAAAAAAEPw/P7MZZ1Q_65A/s1600/IMG_5634.JPG" height="320" width="313" /></a></div>
<br />
Key Lime Twist is a lime green creme. OMG OMG!! This was a stunner. The formula was phenomenal only needing 2 coats. No white base needed here either. This is clearly the stand out of the collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-I8gsa6h6bZM/VRICHjTCXpI/AAAAAAAAEPQ/sSaA07Euo10/s1600/IMG_5625.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-I8gsa6h6bZM/VRICHjTCXpI/AAAAAAAAEPQ/sSaA07Euo10/s1600/IMG_5625.JPG" height="295" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Plum Sugar is a plum creme. The formula on this was very thin and runny. I recommend very thin coats to prevent it bleeding your cuticles, but overall it was not difficult to work with. Nothing really screamed spring about this collection but I did like how it looked on my shorter nails.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UjaV4mCC8bU/VRICMeAfZfI/AAAAAAAAEPg/ciOc2paeZMk/s1600/IMG_5632.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UjaV4mCC8bU/VRICMeAfZfI/AAAAAAAAEPg/ciOc2paeZMk/s1600/IMG_5632.JPG" height="286" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Lastly is Sweet Dreams, a grey with pink/purple shimmer. This took just 2 coats to for opacity. The formula was great.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7HN1li0EHWU/VRICSHi4jvI/AAAAAAAAEP4/ToB0KpvtdA8/s1600/IMG_5635.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7HN1li0EHWU/VRICSHi4jvI/AAAAAAAAEP4/ToB0KpvtdA8/s1600/IMG_5635.JPG" height="318" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I enjoyed this collection with Cake Pop, Key Lime Twist and Sweet Dreams being my top 3. I picked the collection up at Sally Beauty. I've also seen them on etailers like Transdesign.com.<br />

Today I have a new collection from Polish My Life to share with you. Polish My Life is an indie brand notorius for awesome cremes. If you are a fan of creme polishes I highly recommend this brand!<br />
<br />
The collection is inspired by colors from time before 1990. It consists of seven cremes which some have a hint of shimmer that is barely noticeable on the nail. The formulas are some of the best creme polishes I've tried. I'll be saying that a lot in this post. Check out a description and photo of each below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FfWARYJpdEU/VQjbxtokPHI/AAAAAAAAENw/mGV7XJjv02s/s1600/IMG_5614.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FfWARYJpdEU/VQjbxtokPHI/AAAAAAAAENw/mGV7XJjv02s/s1600/IMG_5614.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Coral Fedora is a bright coral creme. The formula was great, a little streaky on one coat and some fingers required 3 coats for opacity. I found it evening out nicely depending on your application.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mna4X30-e_w/VQjbzAQKfnI/AAAAAAAAEN4/4Ad8Pzexlhk/s1600/IMG_5615.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-mna4X30-e_w/VQjbzAQKfnI/AAAAAAAAEN4/4Ad8Pzexlhk/s1600/IMG_5615.JPG" height="320" width="312" /></a></div>
<br />
1950s Mint 'Fridge is a mint green creme. Fabulous formula and it only needed 2 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qklAU42fuWU/VQjbpHhKY0I/AAAAAAAAENA/I8xRUqPxrlQ/s1600/IMG_5608.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qklAU42fuWU/VQjbpHhKY0I/AAAAAAAAENA/I8xRUqPxrlQ/s1600/IMG_5608.JPG" height="320" width="297" /></a></div>
<br />
Purple Flower Power is described as an electric purple creme. I usually love colors like this in the bottle but they never work well with my skin tone, washing me out. But this baby had the perfect formula that fit to my liking. Two easy coats with no topcoat is shown below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jRc3lY_qO2s/VQjbrp0nJlI/AAAAAAAAENQ/41u9_NB5zAo/s1600/IMG_5610.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jRc3lY_qO2s/VQjbrp0nJlI/AAAAAAAAENQ/41u9_NB5zAo/s1600/IMG_5610.JPG" height="320" width="307" /></a></div>
<br />
1970s Sienna Sofa is a brown creme. This color reminds me of the 1970s courdoroy bell bottoms and fringe vests from clips seen from Soul Train...back in the day! The formula was great, 2 coats with no top coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-n51sZQU7Jgo/VQjbqYQWbJI/AAAAAAAAENI/ofKj_-OIX1Y/s1600/IMG_5609.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-n51sZQU7Jgo/VQjbqYQWbJI/AAAAAAAAENI/ofKj_-OIX1Y/s1600/IMG_5609.JPG" height="315" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Springtime Blues is a vibrant blue creme. I swatched this one last because I was scared it would stain. I also made sure to keep it on for a full day (that's considered somewhat average nail color wear for me) and still found removal easy with no staining. With all that said I loved this one as well and it took 2 coats for opacity.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-EQaD_gJULb8/VQjbv96DLmI/AAAAAAAAENo/e5Z_mKaHG9U/s1600/IMG_5613.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-EQaD_gJULb8/VQjbv96DLmI/AAAAAAAAENo/e5Z_mKaHG9U/s1600/IMG_5613.JPG" height="320" width="286" /></a></div>
<br />
Retro Green Scene is a moss green creme. Another amazing formula. I used 2 coats with no top coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_Uj7UJKD8YE/VQjbuY6ZPGI/AAAAAAAAENg/WIaNbQC8RiU/s1600/IMG_5612.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_Uj7UJKD8YE/VQjbuY6ZPGI/AAAAAAAAENg/WIaNbQC8RiU/s1600/IMG_5612.JPG" height="320" width="295" /></a></div>
<br />
Strawberry Whip & Chill is described as a soft, yet deep creme. The formula again was great just like the whole collection. I used 2 coats with no top coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vQx8JMH7X_A/VQjbtFubakI/AAAAAAAAENY/k-DyX4glnLM/s1600/IMG_5611.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-vQx8JMH7X_A/VQjbtFubakI/AAAAAAAAENY/k-DyX4glnLM/s1600/IMG_5611.JPG" height="320" width="301" /></a></div>
<br />
Overall this collection is sick!! Each and every shade has basically the same formula, very smooth, creamy and self leveling. You can feel the quality in each brushstroke. And the colors pop! That combination is a killer you can't help to fall in love with. I mentioned earlier most of them have a subtle shimmer seen in the bottle but not on the nail which is ok with me. I definitely will be gravitating towards these all Spring. My favorites are all of them! <br />
<br />
Unfortunately individual polishes are out of stock for now. But you can grab the whole collection <a href="http://www.polishmylife.com/product/all-things-vintage-spring-collection">here</a>.<br />

To my lovely surprise I spotted these beauties. The Wet N Wild Silver Lake collection consists of 6 very springy pastel shades. If you aren't familiar with this line it's from the mega last line which are very inexpensive at your local drugstore or dollar store. The brush is flat and wide which works very well with my nail bed.<br />
<br />
This collection is limited edition so I recommend grabbing them quickly. I'm a sucker for pastels and this collection did not disappoint. Check out a description of each polish below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wGH3dHuVoSI/VQWQJKYkx4I/AAAAAAAAELU/WdC1HM4Rc_Y/s1600/IMG_5587.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wGH3dHuVoSI/VQWQJKYkx4I/AAAAAAAAELU/WdC1HM4Rc_Y/s1600/IMG_5587.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Reject The Mainstream is a lilac creme. The formula was phenomenal and I used 2 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-C3BbkfNaliU/VQWP_Q8SEtI/AAAAAAAAEKs/1G0rP3gucsM/s1600/IMG_5581.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-C3BbkfNaliU/VQWP_Q8SEtI/AAAAAAAAEKs/1G0rP3gucsM/s1600/IMG_5581.JPG" height="291" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Wear Skinny Jeans is a baby blue creme. In the bottle you can see a hint of shimmer which does not translate to the nail. I used 2 easy coats. This is very reminiscent of Essie Bikini So Teeny.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5BkkI5t5ELk/VQWP8qQaZgI/AAAAAAAAEKk/jUq9wpKUvMs/s1600/IMG_5580.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5BkkI5t5ELk/VQWP8qQaZgI/AAAAAAAAEKk/jUq9wpKUvMs/s1600/IMG_5580.JPG" height="279" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Tree Hugger is a pastel green creme. Another amazing bottle of perfection. I used 2 easy coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rOvZIUu6VGg/VQWQBd8JoXI/AAAAAAAAEK0/tCEB82wBBdc/s1600/IMG_5582.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rOvZIUu6VGg/VQWQBd8JoXI/AAAAAAAAEK0/tCEB82wBBdc/s1600/IMG_5582.JPG" height="304" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Stream Of Consciousness is a sheer light pink shimmer. The formulas was ok but it took 3 coats as shown here (an extra coat wouldn't have hurt). When I first looked at the collection this is the one I thought that didn't belong. After swatching it I see where they were going with this one, almost like a palette cleanser.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ihBlQInA-GQ/VQWQDWmYIDI/AAAAAAAAEK8/XcsLNKQQ428/s1600/IMG_5583.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ihBlQInA-GQ/VQWQDWmYIDI/AAAAAAAAEK8/XcsLNKQQ428/s1600/IMG_5583.JPG" height="320" width="302" /></a></div>
<br />
Warm Filter is a coral creme. The formulas was great and took 2 coats for opacity.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3rO0H4JRO64/VQWQHCkC-MI/AAAAAAAAELM/iIPx3KSG4G8/s1600/IMG_5586.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3rO0H4JRO64/VQWQHCkC-MI/AAAAAAAAELM/iIPx3KSG4G8/s1600/IMG_5586.JPG" height="295" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
A Latte Love is a nude creme. Outstanding! I loved the name on this one too. The formula was another stunner, needing only 2 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2XG4fD80uas/VQWQE4VzBiI/AAAAAAAAELE/iXtAZ3Hw2Zw/s1600/IMG_5584.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2XG4fD80uas/VQWQE4VzBiI/AAAAAAAAELE/iXtAZ3Hw2Zw/s1600/IMG_5584.JPG" height="305" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This collection is a must for pastel lovers. These $1.99 polishes easily match to salon brands as far as formula and consistency. They are so creamy, self leveling and overall the best bang for your buck.<br />
<br />
Hurry up and check out your local Walgreens before these are no longer available! My favorites are all of them and I'm sure they will be my go to polishes for this Spring.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-83893492598978423512015-03-10T09:03:00.000-07:002015-03-10T09:03:44.509-07:00KB Shimmer Spring 2015I'm on vacation from work this week. I decided to take a spring break and get some things around the house done. So far I've planted some beautiful flowers in my front lawn and now I'm posting so I would say it's been a pretty eventful spring break so far.<br />
<br />
I purchased a few polishes from KB Shimmer's latest spring collection which were all the holos. Today I have four to share. As usual all of them had a phenomenal formula and required only 2 coats. This is one if my favorite indie brands I have tried. Check out a description of each after the jump n<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDNK55Z3BiXSijk4OdaR4kk6huQyZFQ4kSJ4a3vqceOMo2y5V9HMoMP_O5CnP6hM9ns9YMNsU8_4mXrYZjrjvojWGEjeXmtYL9Po0M0Css30yr_o3d8QF3IabZNAbhVAAxVWM6WmwPccV9/s1600/IMG_5573.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDNK55Z3BiXSijk4OdaR4kk6huQyZFQ4kSJ4a3vqceOMo2y5V9HMoMP_O5CnP6hM9ns9YMNsU8_4mXrYZjrjvojWGEjeXmtYL9Po0M0Css30yr_o3d8QF3IabZNAbhVAAxVWM6WmwPccV9/s1600/IMG_5573.JPG" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Blush Money is a peachy rose linear holo. It looks more scattered indoors and the holo on this one was least visible of the 4.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJC7g1xCz91RnnzcOmJftlQPa77YhFyrOATm7zGa_JmNBOsSSlSIokAp8vipV7bJ5FS4qMrAVup03aZy9Y_BsO_HIIgSwERF1e4_06Kz03x3jQNUJas7-3ZzRearBJ9FHVx7-NNWkEs7_7/s1600/IMG_5568.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJC7g1xCz91RnnzcOmJftlQPa77YhFyrOATm7zGa_JmNBOsSSlSIokAp8vipV7bJ5FS4qMrAVup03aZy9Y_BsO_HIIgSwERF1e4_06Kz03x3jQNUJas7-3ZzRearBJ9FHVx7-NNWkEs7_7/s1600/IMG_5568.JPG" height="316" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Ins and Sprouts is described by KB Shimmer as a pale citron linear green, like a new bud popping through the soil. This one was very strong as you can see in the photo.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhplmhDlUineK_wF3nEgngEzusGTXQmKQr-WbXsYNKKeirgfsCEr0TskJVjPXj75QxInwdRRrHQtXZwmAeP-NFH8ru2Igqmplp_WTcFAyv6CyB7atatBsb56zSRV8KQMaDiR6KFqCQmI_dY/s1600/IMG_5569.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhplmhDlUineK_wF3nEgngEzusGTXQmKQr-WbXsYNKKeirgfsCEr0TskJVjPXj75QxInwdRRrHQtXZwmAeP-NFH8ru2Igqmplp_WTcFAyv6CyB7atatBsb56zSRV8KQMaDiR6KFqCQmI_dY/s1600/IMG_5569.JPG" height="302" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Blue-d Lines is a gorgeous aquamarine blue linear holographic. There's some pretty serious holo effect going on in this polish, probably being the strongest of the collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWNzofNqEB8fA6g4rj_3HZ8_-0amworMc_T7yb2c_elWq_i9NQUzXX3CHcLYvfWKyN7cTBMJ8NQHAIOcEU9n2Job6TqBVV4uiJgxsLBvzW_DSxNWJ5nND-zB-AWRSloP9coRHoWJHqUKmV/s1600/IMG_5570.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWNzofNqEB8fA6g4rj_3HZ8_-0amworMc_T7yb2c_elWq_i9NQUzXX3CHcLYvfWKyN7cTBMJ8NQHAIOcEU9n2Job6TqBVV4uiJgxsLBvzW_DSxNWJ5nND-zB-AWRSloP9coRHoWJHqUKmV/s1600/IMG_5570.JPG" height="314" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Thistle-be The Day is a lilac Purple linear holo. Another strong holo with a great formula!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-9EOZ-1bxSLaD_ViGbs31AGbEeoie_45NuY2v_bzE5OBpjmNx9DHJODkiHOcSaohmpbx_d9xbBByFNjnx6ePcyX507jaYh2yxeR2Dq7lJf-8aYPMWEtAZd71VClnLdNccQCaYXe66AJO4/s1600/IMG_5572.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-9EOZ-1bxSLaD_ViGbs31AGbEeoie_45NuY2v_bzE5OBpjmNx9DHJODkiHOcSaohmpbx_d9xbBByFNjnx6ePcyX507jaYh2yxeR2Dq7lJf-8aYPMWEtAZd71VClnLdNccQCaYXe66AJO4/s1600/IMG_5572.JPG" height="301" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I knew I wouldn't be disappointed with this collection. I usually love all things KB Shimmer. These polishes are all available at KBShimmer.com and retail for $8.75 each.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-56716250946386421672015-02-17T18:16:00.001-08:002015-02-17T18:16:42.561-08:00Zoya Spring Delight Collection 2015 Swatches & Review Im so excited to post this collection! I have all six polishes from Zoya's 2015 spring collection.<br />
<br />
They consist of 3 cremes and 3 shimmers. Let's start with the shimmers.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj97zNoyIVBPkL_PhAgsjRSpM2zkcbjtD9ZBzO1_RJ2kkv6bnQwCxj9Iqz7lurkjntFmj7n2fUM1UpI7-cXNkA2B0ZtogBiQXogut9tw7PkVbMu0ygZArnDVssYXxLgVfgOyZvz1mOz4_Ao/s1600/IMAGE_552.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj97zNoyIVBPkL_PhAgsjRSpM2zkcbjtD9ZBzO1_RJ2kkv6bnQwCxj9Iqz7lurkjntFmj7n2fUM1UpI7-cXNkA2B0ZtogBiQXogut9tw7PkVbMu0ygZArnDVssYXxLgVfgOyZvz1mOz4_Ao/s1600/IMAGE_552.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Leslie is described by Zoya as a lavender mettalic with turquoise shimmer. I used 2 coats for the photo below but it could have used 3. Overall the formula was ok and the shimmer is visible as much on the nail.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3wg4J9nI9_nc2PhGcuZ_g1cfxARZ5knfewFMWmgr1U2lp4biCVZHx_f9HjKVTDbPCuJMwO-b4AFlHkuBiGEy2jxEP2h42iV9dz4WTXzwbJoOb8PYWC6pKqzEqVjewVjApIuMaC2AUIK-f/s1600/IMAGE_550.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3wg4J9nI9_nc2PhGcuZ_g1cfxARZ5knfewFMWmgr1U2lp4biCVZHx_f9HjKVTDbPCuJMwO-b4AFlHkuBiGEy2jxEP2h42iV9dz4WTXzwbJoOb8PYWC6pKqzEqVjewVjApIuMaC2AUIK-f/s1600/IMAGE_550.jpg" height="320" width="246" /></a></div>
<br />
Daisy is described by Zoya as a lemon merengue yellow with a turquoise flash. I see a little blue shimmer in this as well. It's formula was ok needing 2-3 coats depending on the application.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjplrXGxmqPI5gYi8_h37lfvbcjuN41zKFT2EH6sh9j2q6q1wyD7evKIkYZhXK_vnTxL8p9kuRisWNBbykBpSQqIMtCkymQYDM1CejGc_hgZbtnF8IecOPHWrBSCnUcDlmMJuapFfVryfQi/s1600/IMAGE_549.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjplrXGxmqPI5gYi8_h37lfvbcjuN41zKFT2EH6sh9j2q6q1wyD7evKIkYZhXK_vnTxL8p9kuRisWNBbykBpSQqIMtCkymQYDM1CejGc_hgZbtnF8IecOPHWrBSCnUcDlmMJuapFfVryfQi/s1600/IMAGE_549.jpg" height="320" width="294" /></a></div>
<br />
Rayne is described by Zoya as a blue metallic with turquoise shimmer. It's odd Zoya describes all the shimmers as metallics. They are more shimmery than anything and don't show brush strokes like metallics are notorius for. Anyway Rayne is opaque in 2-3 coats also depending on application. The shimmers work very well and I enjoyed all 3 of what this collection offered.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Eden is a pink cream. I used 2 coats here and it had a glossy finish. This was also my Valentine's Day manicure ❤️<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVplxaNXV0L9hstlLj1eh7k3OdKUaPErYFVrmYbHldhB1TdxkH0p07TAw22Ja8e6zxXldKXi9JIupBLRQACrIxZWeEZIdvp6rSKQ7xW8J5cg0ppYpsSbb_g7ma7ImvTIgNSdIc0G7yShJf/s1600/IMAGE_551.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVplxaNXV0L9hstlLj1eh7k3OdKUaPErYFVrmYbHldhB1TdxkH0p07TAw22Ja8e6zxXldKXi9JIupBLRQACrIxZWeEZIdvp6rSKQ7xW8J5cg0ppYpsSbb_g7ma7ImvTIgNSdIc0G7yShJf/s1600/IMAGE_551.jpg" height="320" width="299" /></a></div>
<br />
Tiana is pistachio green creme. You can get away with one coat if applied right but I opted for 2 thinner coats. The formula was excellent.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_MDm-IV-PSibZEnM0vjrOpxaDtPz7pZi8JVm7wlXNmQIGAk0XasPAhUai8FTsZrgYDzZjaFLFkHw-R-5dtwj6-7Z1fJntPEDQL1aS-ZB0hOlQwNMoV3iwUvw3_hyphenhyphenAxJGqiTPyH9i5SXoi/s1600/IMAGE_546.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_MDm-IV-PSibZEnM0vjrOpxaDtPz7pZi8JVm7wlXNmQIGAk0XasPAhUai8FTsZrgYDzZjaFLFkHw-R-5dtwj6-7Z1fJntPEDQL1aS-ZB0hOlQwNMoV3iwUvw3_hyphenhyphenAxJGqiTPyH9i5SXoi/s1600/IMAGE_546.jpg" height="312" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Lillian is a beautiful blue creme. I loved everything about this one! It's actually what I'm wearing right now. This will probably go down as one of my favorites from Zoya in my collection. It was fully opaque in 2 coats. It's as close as I have for a dupe to OPI What's With The Cattitude, another favorite of mine, with Lillian leaning slightly more greener.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5BI31GFvhhLfPsasLIn16L-myg2DBK_1LFlkot2hzlVbn0vgXnnFXt1P_dHisiyAgenrKMgbPo3fKY1q6KaSSepqZ2BoVV1cKUWVnGFxdajQVFgJxQ9tqtIhVhDdg2YJJ_hazpaTmuHGM/s1600/IMAGE_547.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5BI31GFvhhLfPsasLIn16L-myg2DBK_1LFlkot2hzlVbn0vgXnnFXt1P_dHisiyAgenrKMgbPo3fKY1q6KaSSepqZ2BoVV1cKUWVnGFxdajQVFgJxQ9tqtIhVhDdg2YJJ_hazpaTmuHGM/s1600/IMAGE_547.jpg" height="320" width="296" /></a></div>
<br />
OPI The Man With The Golden Gun topped on Lillian<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Overall all the cremes were great with Lillian and Tiana being my favorite. Daisy was another surprise favorite. I loved how it looked against my skin tone. The collection is available now at Zoya.com and retail for $9 each.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-78429482660695361802015-02-15T14:15:00.000-08:002015-02-15T14:15:38.182-08:00Zoya Matte VelvetHope you all had a good Valentine's day and enjoying the rest of the weekend. A couple weeks ago I took a trip to Ulta to specifically find any polishes on sale. I've been very selective lately. If I see a collection I'm just not feeling in entirety I don't purchase it. Well I end up loosing out on that one from that collection that probably was the standout but because of my disinterest in the collection I end up getting none.<br />
<br />
With all that said I ran into the Zoya Matte Velvet collection for half off each and I was super hyped! I was able to get 5 of the six, leaving out Posh, which will be on my wish list for Zoya's annual Earth Day promotion. For those who are not familiar each year Zoya sells polish half off in exchange for your unwanted polishes to properly dispose of them. You still get the sale price if you have no polishes to return. Anywho this collection consists of 6 matte finishes that are gorgeous. For the most all required 2 coats and I did not use top coat because I loved it matte.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Harlow is a rose plum matte with some shimmer. I did not care for this one much. The formula was ok but a little metallic like and streaky.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX2HhRhLWqt9cxE8waJxojdiD_xbxRxHn0GKWwK-aGj9qz_YkU5yspXnDLIOpCUntrMFYfzunO8-l-BSni9JpQ5JrTO5Z4d22mvdg8jzCwD_N1Nr9P6X1E1hOwtXS8HsatiHfq7an2KQ_q/s1600/IMAGE_529.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiX2HhRhLWqt9cxE8waJxojdiD_xbxRxHn0GKWwK-aGj9qz_YkU5yspXnDLIOpCUntrMFYfzunO8-l-BSni9JpQ5JrTO5Z4d22mvdg8jzCwD_N1Nr9P6X1E1hOwtXS8HsatiHfq7an2KQ_q/s1600/IMAGE_529.jpg" height="320" width="314" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div>
Dovima is a charcoal black with gorgeous and very strong silver shimmer. I loved everything about this. Formula wise it was great. It has a satin matte finish which works really well to show off the shimmer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggVTAyz1UxDy-7TDoL2A9hvXj4XUoCJDHg-qB5ZVtb22jBgsZBo7ApRrfDuSfypHwaMJWiWsgWpD191OTokSfIPJQaLFbn8FuOxrdtaCWcrUegRqSQd_tn45Ba2XmasX7lcxFo_-ISP9iY/s1600/IMAGE_530.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggVTAyz1UxDy-7TDoL2A9hvXj4XUoCJDHg-qB5ZVtb22jBgsZBo7ApRrfDuSfypHwaMJWiWsgWpD191OTokSfIPJQaLFbn8FuOxrdtaCWcrUegRqSQd_tn45Ba2XmasX7lcxFo_-ISP9iY/s1600/IMAGE_530.jpg" height="320" width="310" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Loredana is a gunmetal gray matte. The formula was fantastic and I loved the final look. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEWZUufiZF3_BZXeEBxYHlOBusCubYnhVdDlUEDUbPJpcrREd6PcWFnoC-PAYOeuR_XnVud4uGzUS-0EY6xw8V5xRi5UAoHSV_IHwO6jyPUW-OPHeY03qx0z2E1QYb22vTOEalhqUiNf1g/s1600/IMAGE_528.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEWZUufiZF3_BZXeEBxYHlOBusCubYnhVdDlUEDUbPJpcrREd6PcWFnoC-PAYOeuR_XnVud4uGzUS-0EY6xw8V5xRi5UAoHSV_IHwO6jyPUW-OPHeY03qx0z2E1QYb22vTOEalhqUiNf1g/s1600/IMAGE_528.jpg" height="309" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I saved my favorite 2 for last. Savita is a purple stain matte with a strong shimmer. The shimmer works so well with this polish. The formula was great as well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSBji2EfIXm20I_NuHUx2TI-Fr-hjp-vRuVxmYDkwpsSQ-xgKtRjfHwBu3YrUu-O8N6haG7nTw0O-urwGCliFbP_O-qXz6_A0QuscIzpSTR3LpvSFLWeXK1yOP3YOG_L8Ze2ciwXh2bWOn/s1600/IMAGE_531.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSBji2EfIXm20I_NuHUx2TI-Fr-hjp-vRuVxmYDkwpsSQ-xgKtRjfHwBu3YrUu-O8N6haG7nTw0O-urwGCliFbP_O-qXz6_A0QuscIzpSTR3LpvSFLWeXK1yOP3YOG_L8Ze2ciwXh2bWOn/s1600/IMAGE_531.jpg" height="292" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lastly is Veruschka, an evergreen matte. This has to be my favorite of the collection (of what I got) and happy to have it in my stash. Everything was fabulous about this polish. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkEGhnNV-NFPwGyLNXc4RAYJtXwOb5k2MOkLRt0BqByPC8va3SqtA_b0RVGLJ42iMUoJQOcdG8Q6il4GljMUc0Wa5463iQat8_9mUUN8aOqFfYB4IUmsMa3Rg3_Xj2j_NmvlbvqAsb3GYq/s1600/IMAGE_527.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkEGhnNV-NFPwGyLNXc4RAYJtXwOb5k2MOkLRt0BqByPC8va3SqtA_b0RVGLJ42iMUoJQOcdG8Q6il4GljMUc0Wa5463iQat8_9mUUN8aOqFfYB4IUmsMa3Rg3_Xj2j_NmvlbvqAsb3GYq/s1600/IMAGE_527.jpg" height="320" width="296" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really enjoyed this collection. Matte polishes have easily become a favorite of mine recently whether using a matte topcoat or polishes like these. The collection is available at zoya.com and sell for $9 each. </div>

Check out a description of each polish after the jump!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsEZ_AIU3vhN5nw08HyoFVNJ0X4TL-5hI3vQQJX4hVWmUqfi9pi1-XOFKjQRRHIla6xfcDIBFyQNeECDZnNqSouBQ0iU47ho1t3_-mWtqpLP1K9w_Wl90MTGWA5aAUJpQ280kP9OnE5CEY/s1600/IMAGE_516.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsEZ_AIU3vhN5nw08HyoFVNJ0X4TL-5hI3vQQJX4hVWmUqfi9pi1-XOFKjQRRHIla6xfcDIBFyQNeECDZnNqSouBQ0iU47ho1t3_-mWtqpLP1K9w_Wl90MTGWA5aAUJpQ280kP9OnE5CEY/s1600/IMAGE_516.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Time For Me Time is a sheer pearlescent with pinky/purple shimmer. This polish was very sheer and needed at least 3 coats which still showed some visible nail line. I used 4-5 coats here which is a ridiculous amount. This is a pretty color but nothing is very unique about it.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGjIu-AqByEGElwFsiHIcsR2HNjyew_PrI9XniKC21ZUSXVTdLyxxCL2kwsJzmXaran2hpdFdej7L2Fifcku_tbVXO10Ayokwkd2hEt9FuCD0-OteBmOS-6qfRYXDXGynqr4uyUCT3Yt4J/s1600/IMAGE_513.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGjIu-AqByEGElwFsiHIcsR2HNjyew_PrI9XniKC21ZUSXVTdLyxxCL2kwsJzmXaran2hpdFdej7L2Fifcku_tbVXO10Ayokwkd2hEt9FuCD0-OteBmOS-6qfRYXDXGynqr4uyUCT3Yt4J/s1600/IMAGE_513.jpg" height="320" width="317" /></a></div>
<br />
Stones N' Roses is a salmon/pinky/peach creme. Again it's not very unique but a nice shade. The formula was great and almost opaque in just one coat. I have plenty of colors like this already in my collection so I doubt I'll be reaching for it anytime soon.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm205IBWC-xivMLXtpGDj9Bi9XUiht5ogkdowrswHm8lj0Yknh2rN0BqRpxcttdv8fMkxsBq4TGIU0Vrf8K67hwdU2aBcqKiqmYZmF2YftYvbA3fJJWMF-5cxrRWT_lFQjgrbOiU5LMunc/s1600/IMAGE_515.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm205IBWC-xivMLXtpGDj9Bi9XUiht5ogkdowrswHm8lj0Yknh2rN0BqRpxcttdv8fMkxsBq4TGIU0Vrf8K67hwdU2aBcqKiqmYZmF2YftYvbA3fJJWMF-5cxrRWT_lFQjgrbOiU5LMunc/s1600/IMAGE_515.jpg" height="320" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
Cocoa Karma is a brown creme. I have the same feelings on this one as I do about Stones N' Roses, great formula but nothing really unique. It's a great neutral shade for the office. I used two coats here.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhueiFmtFr4o5Vrz3AnUw_mKbfQgp36y5KIsGcCjmBXXuSjkY4iKPc2dYwvDc18HaS9RVEKlwUEhNajd0t3o5sJqytQb3bYNm1bYrCv4Oxzu0KGDy6iu2galhviugRHBa4PqwyOlpyg9u0F/s1600/IMAGE_514.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhueiFmtFr4o5Vrz3AnUw_mKbfQgp36y5KIsGcCjmBXXuSjkY4iKPc2dYwvDc18HaS9RVEKlwUEhNajd0t3o5sJqytQb3bYNm1bYrCv4Oxzu0KGDy6iu2galhviugRHBa4PqwyOlpyg9u0F/s1600/IMAGE_514.jpg" height="320" width="299" /></a></div>
<br />
Lastly is the namesake of the collection, Suite Retreat. It's a purple/blue creme that is opaque in one coat. This is the color that made me want to give this collection a try. Sadly it didn't meet up to my expectations. The formula was great but again not unique. This is almost a dupe for Essie's Chills and Thrills from the past summer collection. Had I realized this before purchasing I would have passed on this collection.<br />

Overall I am pretty impressed with Essie over their huge comeback with their formulas. However this collection left me wanting more. I wish they were a bit more creative and bold with the colors. I purchased the collection from transdesign.com however I've seen it at Ulta Beauty this past weekend.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-49731495572932151852015-02-08T07:03:00.000-08:002015-02-08T07:03:13.593-08:00China Glaze Road Trip Spring 2015I shared half of China Glaze Spring 2015 collection late last week so here is the other half, named Destination Unknown. <br />
License & Registration Pls is a medium blue creme. The formula was great and I used 2 coats. Boo hoo because this one did stain a little.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjudhHq5wyOHbJvQUxaMcmkMZ480cPoM4mtLcUU7ggaNAnm74gx-oV1MfbzgTVN0yhyJGbTU-03c9V2wKhtjgj68rC38nvdPDsvpoOPzhXn203Oj_REF9Yez5brsCK1XYiAxMNN7wGf9fdq/s1600/IMAGE_499.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjudhHq5wyOHbJvQUxaMcmkMZ480cPoM4mtLcUU7ggaNAnm74gx-oV1MfbzgTVN0yhyJGbTU-03c9V2wKhtjgj68rC38nvdPDsvpoOPzhXn203Oj_REF9Yez5brsCK1XYiAxMNN7wGf9fdq/s1600/IMAGE_499.jpg" height="304" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
My Way Or The Higway is a turquoise creme. The formula was almost like a jelly and it was completely opaque in 2 coats shown below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbaxnK7uW4HaOnwjWTrPzcfatIvqFfvLSdidtPsZ0eSWzHZxTNFBc4ITFCGbcOf2US2MzdLPxOyE6pXfiYYY_VhJbEr3hyphenhyphenDEH9dBmVGh1UWgS3napDwciIzUZLUGYghixWyW0VwCmKLaIU/s1600/IMAGE_501.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbaxnK7uW4HaOnwjWTrPzcfatIvqFfvLSdidtPsZ0eSWzHZxTNFBc4ITFCGbcOf2US2MzdLPxOyE6pXfiYYY_VhJbEr3hyphenhyphenDEH9dBmVGh1UWgS3napDwciIzUZLUGYghixWyW0VwCmKLaIU/s1600/IMAGE_501.jpg" height="286" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
More To Explore is a coral peachy creme. It looks sort of neon but it does not dry with the typical matter finish of a neon. This was my favorite from this part of the collection. It was a bit streaky on the first coat and some even required 3 coats. I'm currently wearing this on my toes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm3JAc7XjiHrI8bs0a8PiAfB26L7BD-2goe1VEBG1cG_7c62BqYuGJNQ7bQk3c_HBEy8w4PQ1W976m71PhlX53hnOlzQvoBWiuhnLpnirrTjBV736elmo1W-JADbUoO-V6nGSck9twBVqG/s1600/IMAGE_495.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhm3JAc7XjiHrI8bs0a8PiAfB26L7BD-2goe1VEBG1cG_7c62BqYuGJNQ7bQk3c_HBEy8w4PQ1W976m71PhlX53hnOlzQvoBWiuhnLpnirrTjBV736elmo1W-JADbUoO-V6nGSck9twBVqG/s1600/IMAGE_495.jpg" height="315" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Sun's Up Top Down is a yellow with gold shimmer. The formula was sheer but built to opacity in 3 coats. I really enjoyed this polish too!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoZk7PgBuG-uNS6bhJ7gJlSlhoiaqM9YyPcYx2wS778chI3W-WjM_xvdMIhMSNgOVoduickMCo09a1PM5w2aTGeSgIdHoghvRoRq1X61aRJkSypA_VK55HWBZQC7HVr2T88CVEzwObyUCA/s1600/IMAGE_494.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoZk7PgBuG-uNS6bhJ7gJlSlhoiaqM9YyPcYx2wS778chI3W-WjM_xvdMIhMSNgOVoduickMCo09a1PM5w2aTGeSgIdHoghvRoRq1X61aRJkSypA_VK55HWBZQC7HVr2T88CVEzwObyUCA/s1600/IMAGE_494.jpg" height="317" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Pop The Trunk is a tomatoe creme. The formula was amazing just needing 2 thin coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Qa8RTxCoKPcS_n3rsoojMo-6rWO65EfMMu593v-NowlqLjXyZ1MLtDgZF_XUcqlkkMSxKykTh3amWQpoHdzapMOnJ5rJf7LyGTQQgZMCL7NfCW9qkfKTxEKzKp2VuOemcgITRSltdhyu/s1600/IMAGE_498.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Qa8RTxCoKPcS_n3rsoojMo-6rWO65EfMMu593v-NowlqLjXyZ1MLtDgZF_XUcqlkkMSxKykTh3amWQpoHdzapMOnJ5rJf7LyGTQQgZMCL7NfCW9qkfKTxEKzKp2VuOemcgITRSltdhyu/s1600/IMAGE_498.jpg" height="302" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Lastly is Trip of a Lime Time which is a lime green creme. The formula was again very jelly like. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9BQavos5bKfivnnsIjUC8yHEQ5UxJkC6tgvaNWVp3PxwFw3ulyTpINHyu8qmCTc8-dLV0f8hiMOMDAtEKXDKAS0eNh1d0Npnv01v8wFdVJxnGpjmiiwqkOM9O4Qgfgykg3lcvkvIxj4oK/s1600/IMAGE_497.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9BQavos5bKfivnnsIjUC8yHEQ5UxJkC6tgvaNWVp3PxwFw3ulyTpINHyu8qmCTc8-dLV0f8hiMOMDAtEKXDKAS0eNh1d0Npnv01v8wFdVJxnGpjmiiwqkOM9O4Qgfgykg3lcvkvIxj4oK/s1600/IMAGE_497.jpg" height="308" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Overall I enjoyed the formula of this part of the collection and the colors from Road Trip Ready were my favorite. I have used almost half a bottle of More To Explore just doing nail art in the past couple weeks. Below are some of the gradients I've created using polishes from this collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5HJYy1XlXIUHE0yTD-Z_kmVH5_qY67xo2yByT8jcoQ5o8R4K-lZCXxh8-Kh4iI_S1JKnIplehLiM2Ye-Hkps62ZbDwnwVnGrJji4nYo1fx4wF0LZj7yyGEOchpZucyHSx_eD8UxWbZPSW/s1600/IMAGE_496.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5HJYy1XlXIUHE0yTD-Z_kmVH5_qY67xo2yByT8jcoQ5o8R4K-lZCXxh8-Kh4iI_S1JKnIplehLiM2Ye-Hkps62ZbDwnwVnGrJji4nYo1fx4wF0LZj7yyGEOchpZucyHSx_eD8UxWbZPSW/s1600/IMAGE_496.jpg" height="311" width="320" /></a></div>

China Glaze has released their Spring collection and it's full of color. As usual they are broken into 2 sets of 6 polishes each so today I'll show the first 6, named Road Trip Ready.<br />
<br />
Check out a description of each after the jump!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFVxacIEuG0w777M3cN4pTBco7us-Q1F25JfxQlDUcR3T74O2taYYi2xGOdeecOlBjkryAff92JELutVl93018i8ibiWXf0VZS73Qi7uMnU4eLTDtN0V7hOBBxL9KDj6AhYg2m_iWdhyLB/s1600/IMAGE_485.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFVxacIEuG0w777M3cN4pTBco7us-Q1F25JfxQlDUcR3T74O2taYYi2xGOdeecOlBjkryAff92JELutVl93018i8ibiWXf0VZS73Qi7uMnU4eLTDtN0V7hOBBxL9KDj6AhYg2m_iWdhyLB/s1600/IMAGE_485.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I Brake For Colour is a pink red creme. The formula and consistency were both very easy to work with. This is a great color for tanned skin. Shown here are 2 coats though it was almost a 1 coater.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQbnWlTY1agVYAMRxtqJjOlcEq85SpWRCYnYumSuLqS8XuClUP4-ta_dbgRstcR3cnlA0ltKQh4S-NS18PleonlJC4feNHsPxcFTRekwPg5_cYt8UOGFh3LWYfM7qYjdFTbqM_DnNHkty6/s1600/IMAGE_481.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQbnWlTY1agVYAMRxtqJjOlcEq85SpWRCYnYumSuLqS8XuClUP4-ta_dbgRstcR3cnlA0ltKQh4S-NS18PleonlJC4feNHsPxcFTRekwPg5_cYt8UOGFh3LWYfM7qYjdFTbqM_DnNHkty6/s1600/IMAGE_481.jpg" height="300" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Pinking Out The Window is a pink creme. Everything was great about this one. Again it was almost fully opaque in 1 coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgg-hktFHH0V2LaO5QK4d-vDbuZN5uYBskKvKo87q-sFxbHz1H3D3qXXUi3cGbT_qCbMbj_CaLmgbfRKVlfDn8bvOf39D_-IPdFVFikVWQvUh7ljWrc9J1F_iuvYIl1CVwK-tfTzaA5CFq3/s1600/IMAGE_482.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgg-hktFHH0V2LaO5QK4d-vDbuZN5uYBskKvKo87q-sFxbHz1H3D3qXXUi3cGbT_qCbMbj_CaLmgbfRKVlfDn8bvOf39D_-IPdFVFikVWQvUh7ljWrc9J1F_iuvYIl1CVwK-tfTzaA5CFq3/s1600/IMAGE_482.jpg" height="311" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Pack Lightly is a pinky peach shimmer. This was very sheer and took at least 3-4 coats to be opaque. The end result was worth the crappy formula for me. The shimmer is subtle but not too bad for my liking.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAeSkSPOUqjPxsirnphmLUjPuBZDbE_mhOixr6C9qzbkqS6ZCxFZYvMpXjmF8zbl6ZbJy9y__-nMmLXANvz_eSwTsqr6V6325Ev3bbFiJNrpyyiQwU3yOPR1PHnDGbZ1PUTr9scI5eBuVo/s1600/IMAGE_483.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAeSkSPOUqjPxsirnphmLUjPuBZDbE_mhOixr6C9qzbkqS6ZCxFZYvMpXjmF8zbl6ZbJy9y__-nMmLXANvz_eSwTsqr6V6325Ev3bbFiJNrpyyiQwU3yOPR1PHnDGbZ1PUTr9scI5eBuVo/s1600/IMAGE_483.jpg" height="298" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Wanderlust is a lilac shimmer. The formula was the same as Pack Lightly, very sheer and needing 3-4 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXfICN4EvUARjocUFP8y-e4utRNX7hXRqtpPUQabWPa7bIy2Zh97C4d9AVjuLEuHKR41slXCbpEuaq5WVxv-XV6rfBY2w2US50EAkDAEgzqvfl7XC9R62vuxqH6yIaFmmSwNkbVLxB7zWi/s1600/IMAGE_480.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXfICN4EvUARjocUFP8y-e4utRNX7hXRqtpPUQabWPa7bIy2Zh97C4d9AVjuLEuHKR41slXCbpEuaq5WVxv-XV6rfBY2w2US50EAkDAEgzqvfl7XC9R62vuxqH6yIaFmmSwNkbVLxB7zWi/s1600/IMAGE_480.jpg" height="307" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Dashboard Dreamer is the last shimmer from this collection. It's a blue pastel with subtle rose/purple gold shimmer. I hope that makes sense? The last 3 all have the same shimmer. I also noticed they are all very similar to some of the pastels from last years spring collection but just with shimmer. The formulas are not the greatest but I enjoyed all 3.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMgJv2xUkrboCzEYBpoBGWlVws5rX1cHIzVLv322s4Bt6n5vNpbbpdEOSunUROuuR4h7-kg7w8sr7uB4hlQ5mCcIvaP7LJqKZLHQsON5SkwM2lsUfkz_eNoth8Ag6WG3c8HOa6vq2Ywld9/s1600/IMAGE_479.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMgJv2xUkrboCzEYBpoBGWlVws5rX1cHIzVLv322s4Bt6n5vNpbbpdEOSunUROuuR4h7-kg7w8sr7uB4hlQ5mCcIvaP7LJqKZLHQsON5SkwM2lsUfkz_eNoth8Ag6WG3c8HOa6vq2Ywld9/s1600/IMAGE_479.jpg" height="303" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Lastly is Boho Blues. Ahhh Boho Blues!! Just look!! Isn't it gorgeous?! Well as pretty as it looks here it's more flawless in person. This is going to go down as a favorite blue of my collection. It's a gorgeous blue creme. It almost has a jelly formula and is a dream to work with. Definitely THE ONE of the collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidcYCB601A8EbgNy2sCVkWFz5ixIxz31iPsYIeIq6SWHSih21zQ2PXSyjboRftV8awW7R2l4xNn9AhiHSiGqqAe1V7vOh9MkdaOm83X39Bv738wmAm5CjesszXNOR8s7fvhCjYtB6PUosR/s1600/IMAGE_478.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidcYCB601A8EbgNy2sCVkWFz5ixIxz31iPsYIeIq6SWHSih21zQ2PXSyjboRftV8awW7R2l4xNn9AhiHSiGqqAe1V7vOh9MkdaOm83X39Bv738wmAm5CjesszXNOR8s7fvhCjYtB6PUosR/s1600/IMAGE_478.jpg" height="306" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Overall I loved everything about this collection. My favorite is clearly Boho Blues but I also loved the 3 shimmers, Pack Lightly, Dashboard Dreamer and Wanderlust. I believe they are now available at Ulta and Sally Beauty. They are also on Transdesign.com for $19.50 per set.<br />

Today I'm thrilled to share with you the Fall 2014 collection from Pear Nova.<br />
<br />
For those that have not heard of this brand it's a high end polish developed in Chicago which are all creme polishes. I ran across this brand on Instagram and one day decided to give them a try since cremes are my favorite finish. I certainly was not disappointed. These are the most creamy polishes I have ever tried. Most of them are fully opaque in just 1 coat and are super shiny!! Also I'm such a sucker for packaging. Each polish comes in a cute little pouch which I'll show in a picture below. It really says a lot when a business takes the time to provide a little something extra, giving exceptional customer service.<br />
<br />
In all my swatches I did not use a top coat because one wasn't needed. However for a longer lasting manicure I'd recommend using one. The fall collection consists of 4 creme polishes. Check out a description of each after the jump.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Pilsen Lofts & Art Walks is a light grey creme. This is a great neutral for the fall, probably even better for winter. The formula was a little thick but super easy to work with and fully opaque in just 1 coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDl45QweUX1X6PRjVTFE1QiTtHhr8Meku5imfx60lkPpSTs3WhFa_4s86kr-q5NAl41ZJNNPYSlHJyedncRFg5A8yGBZAzExHuDaa84aaG96L7Hde39VLjATyKwu6BkJ_R0PTBWwuV7Ar0/s1600/IMAGE_470.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDl45QweUX1X6PRjVTFE1QiTtHhr8Meku5imfx60lkPpSTs3WhFa_4s86kr-q5NAl41ZJNNPYSlHJyedncRFg5A8yGBZAzExHuDaa84aaG96L7Hde39VLjATyKwu6BkJ_R0PTBWwuV7Ar0/s1600/IMAGE_470.jpg" height="268" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Boystown Blues is a cornflower blue creme. The formula was very similar to Pilsen Lofts & Art Walks and fully opaque in just 1 coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoFrEU-_106-flyy4cSO0NDcctTVKpYNHMLKMe-zR-PqMCtvcEVSbZiGRB6LV1Q9qh749MQ9jxzgZl9Bh0Itb0DsXdnK8tQJPfaeoc6KJTSwy3kCT4GFe6GcIBDVb3eR_tltwS5CB2cxqH/s1600/IMAGE_467.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoFrEU-_106-flyy4cSO0NDcctTVKpYNHMLKMe-zR-PqMCtvcEVSbZiGRB6LV1Q9qh749MQ9jxzgZl9Bh0Itb0DsXdnK8tQJPfaeoc6KJTSwy3kCT4GFe6GcIBDVb3eR_tltwS5CB2cxqH/s1600/IMAGE_467.jpg" height="268" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Jekyll & Hyde Park is a plum purple creme. The formula was amazing!! I never was a fan of dark colors but recently I've been digging these shades for the fall season. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYPTeM7tSBu2oA4Qlw-pWQmfwp4w4w1EDYAnTC4Wal1_7a6nJpGV24BpRTSYNMNqHbWQ1zKqkXnWjB8H2PUEY08H_71MNbenDSDpwqlV_Y2pR5Avfm7bNbG9lnh0-yYM7L5SauQmpQYvE-/s1600/IMAGE_466.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYPTeM7tSBu2oA4Qlw-pWQmfwp4w4w1EDYAnTC4Wal1_7a6nJpGV24BpRTSYNMNqHbWQ1zKqkXnWjB8H2PUEY08H_71MNbenDSDpwqlV_Y2pR5Avfm7bNbG9lnh0-yYM7L5SauQmpQYvE-/s1600/IMAGE_466.jpg" height="297" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Oak Street Suite is a true army green. In the bottle you'd think this was a straight creme. I was pleasantly surprised to see a faint shimmer when applied on the nail. This one was my favorite from the collection. The formula was a dream to work with! I used 2 coats for full opacity.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOQ-7ZvHS2Prau7fYif6SXEvfO4PzAf8htNKEYjDrIXBTd-wj3aFBDMr-8XYQIHGHyBmLFErMoq-0YXJUu_fGkpehAjLUdbzWTzf4x4K5yR_vWIyYFv3An4pdNyDQ_nRNCsxj9THaeRqQS/s1600/IMAGE_465.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOQ-7ZvHS2Prau7fYif6SXEvfO4PzAf8htNKEYjDrIXBTd-wj3aFBDMr-8XYQIHGHyBmLFErMoq-0YXJUu_fGkpehAjLUdbzWTzf4x4K5yR_vWIyYFv3An4pdNyDQ_nRNCsxj9THaeRqQS/s1600/IMAGE_465.jpg" height="320" width="314" /></a></div>
<br />
I have never been to Chicago but if I had to take a guess this collection was inspired by the city. I loved the names of each polish. I also did a tape manicure using Boystown Blues and Pilsen Lofts & Art Walks shown below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

All of these polishes are 3 free. If you're looking for the perfect creme polish I highly recommend this brand. The Fall collection is available now on Pear Nova's site <a href="http://www.pearnova.com/">here</a> and retail for $11.50 each. <a href="https://www.blogger.com/"></a>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-25134877080941545862014-10-30T10:04:00.001-07:002014-11-02T07:08:11.189-08:00Colors By Llarowe - Fall 2014Hi! Today I'm excited to share with you my picks from Colors By Lllarowe Fall 2014 collection. For those not familiar with llarowe, she's an e-tailer specializing in exotic independent nail polish brands. I purchased some of my first indie brands on llarowe's site a few years ago but kind of took a hiatus the past couple years. In the past her restocks are insane and usually draws huge crowds to her site which causes to much traffic. However she has revamped her site and now it includes putting each visitor in a queue so you can shop without getting stuck on one page.<br />
<br />
Llarowe released her own polish line and I was so happy to finally pick up a few from her latest fall collection. I must warn you this post is very picture heavy. Check out a description of each polish after the jump!<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Seasons Of Change is a gunmetal green linear holographic polish. This is a one coater however out of habit I used 2 coats. The formula was excellent!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSfy0J2l4ZMwSbEGiL3ONiJ4ZAWrmBEttlza4W0Tgfkc7mGSlzVu7Bis2U7rkfK07VyYl35BKM_yUrpeR70HE5yOcqcAK5AvrYExhNJ5_6SNMRtpGyB3Q3Xof9S0eZag5ou9CgEJrBXDlV/s1600/IMAGE_437.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSfy0J2l4ZMwSbEGiL3ONiJ4ZAWrmBEttlza4W0Tgfkc7mGSlzVu7Bis2U7rkfK07VyYl35BKM_yUrpeR70HE5yOcqcAK5AvrYExhNJ5_6SNMRtpGyB3Q3Xof9S0eZag5ou9CgEJrBXDlV/s1600/IMAGE_437.jpg" height="320" width="268" /></a></div>

<br />
Mercy is an eggplant linear holographic polish. The holo was more intense in the sun than I could show here in pictures. It's another one coater but I used 2 here. The formula was great.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtpUuzE6vJevorEHQ-JCV3j_Ech3Oh3guzvDamOBP_mk_iwSwBroDOHpetbiPHhfPVQdYRqrraIAYc-ViyO3HEi2NHlW7zAOxSzVc08PiNHTgfUDEprvCbsNgFAG_SsYsj0NhnFJJdRYjI/s1600/IMAGE_443.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtpUuzE6vJevorEHQ-JCV3j_Ech3Oh3guzvDamOBP_mk_iwSwBroDOHpetbiPHhfPVQdYRqrraIAYc-ViyO3HEi2NHlW7zAOxSzVc08PiNHTgfUDEprvCbsNgFAG_SsYsj0NhnFJJdRYjI/s1600/IMAGE_443.jpg" height="320" width="256" /></a></div>
<br />
Smokey Mountain Memories is a royal blue scattered holographic polish. This took 2 coats for full opacity. The formula was ok but I recommend you shaking this really well as it had little clumps of blue polish in my bottle.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8lCS0bn3r3cjf8bD2-uhSNi6A6wzldoiMWLScqICKKeUdPpu_zRYk1WBYLco1s5EQAC5Ue7WbZzKkUcNJpeHaATZcfKWxeQSdhy83mR2XqaJTUgWC57WE_l9GYlhgTI6sNU8sVGjtksR_/s1600/IMAGE_441.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8lCS0bn3r3cjf8bD2-uhSNi6A6wzldoiMWLScqICKKeUdPpu_zRYk1WBYLco1s5EQAC5Ue7WbZzKkUcNJpeHaATZcfKWxeQSdhy83mR2XqaJTUgWC57WE_l9GYlhgTI6sNU8sVGjtksR_/s1600/IMAGE_441.jpg" height="320" width="276" /></a></div>

<br />
My Broken Down Crop Duster is a dark brown linear holographic polish. Man was this one intense?!!!! It had a great formula and I could easily get away with just one coat. This one reminds me of OPI My Private Jet (the original).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1XJmJZhU9Waw88whtI60jbTmlWbDlRFa6Htm8juLB_31aSSKfCXNPM02We1DxTzfWrGH-zkRArWPsKIoVwSXLOQU9cQtXk9sCwOOUXoIjRgnJDz8QVX5lf4ahgGJYYRmuzymYZ3ZKklHn/s1600/IMAGE_439.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1XJmJZhU9Waw88whtI60jbTmlWbDlRFa6Htm8juLB_31aSSKfCXNPM02We1DxTzfWrGH-zkRArWPsKIoVwSXLOQU9cQtXk9sCwOOUXoIjRgnJDz8QVX5lf4ahgGJYYRmuzymYZ3ZKklHn/s1600/IMAGE_439.jpg" height="320" width="266" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Lastly is Show Me Again. This is not from the fall collection rather from the Show Me Collection. It's a multi chrome scattered holographic polish. The colors shift from teal to blue to pink, it's so gorgeous. It took 2 coats alone for opacity but you can also layer this over a blue or black polish.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Surprisingly these are all still available <a href="http://www.llarowe.com/">here</a> and each retails for $12. If you see one you like I recommend picking them up because these usually sell out quickly.<br />

Today is my 5 year anniversary with my amazing husband. We had a dinner at our house yesterday with our immediate family and today we just kicked back and had a lazy day.<br />
<br />
Friday I received my Zoya order, Wishes Holiday 2014. For the past few years their holiday collections have been on point so I knew I had to order this one. Ironically the night before it released I went to bed wondering when their holiday collection would be out and voila, the next morning they made the press release.<br />
<br />
This collection consists of 6 polishes, 3 are magical pixie dusts, 2 metallic and 1 cream. Check out a description of each after the jump.<br />

<br />
Willa is your typical black creme. I used 2 coats here and it was fully opaque. I don't usually buy salon or high end brand polishes in black because it's something you can find in the drugstore fairly inexpensive and the formula is just as comparable. However I did have a black from either Zoya or OPI on my list so this came out just in time. The formula on this one was excellent, nice and creamy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUYahMx2IFYYhN9a4TvWgWmimd1p1V0Y7RfeQ8rg8dLNSHf2O83ySekdMYj4RwFm67W5Vea760y0CEoc9qtp0Rx76jrTqQXI3fRbRZvhKGFBKkuuZGk9zRFPw_zdUU6o1HNZKSaGW_pSVO/s1600/IMAGE_412.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUYahMx2IFYYhN9a4TvWgWmimd1p1V0Y7RfeQ8rg8dLNSHf2O83ySekdMYj4RwFm67W5Vea760y0CEoc9qtp0Rx76jrTqQXI3fRbRZvhKGFBKkuuZGk9zRFPw_zdUU6o1HNZKSaGW_pSVO/s1600/IMAGE_412.jpg" height="320" width="303" /></a></div>
<br />
Prim is a metallic ice blue. You can somewhat see the brush strokes so I recommend applying this one with as little strokes as possible. The formula was a bit thin but easy to work with. Here I used 2 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRNTlLcneccX9aIVuVw2hXKLF72_5yVZ4sRAd2X-nD-68y4zgIbbOxcOUctIESnKu892Mnw8tq9bVUgTl05vy8LcdOHJqKFsnzAqFiOK7Gr3OHan81gS8t2xxLPXmGmuSUbQa2lFLH16yb/s1600/IMAGE_414.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRNTlLcneccX9aIVuVw2hXKLF72_5yVZ4sRAd2X-nD-68y4zgIbbOxcOUctIESnKu892Mnw8tq9bVUgTl05vy8LcdOHJqKFsnzAqFiOK7Gr3OHan81gS8t2xxLPXmGmuSUbQa2lFLH16yb/s1600/IMAGE_414.jpg" height="279" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Haven is a metallic plum purple. This one too was a little thin but easy to work with. I found this one to not show the brush strokes as much as a metallic would. I used 2 coats for full opacity.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGEPar7biUB52hcDcmyB_FXWDZdOsH5JF6b2ydmlgO-FJF58b6HzeQsRAClFaEjzeQyTRekDCaKKDcsnWe7y8bmqYC_sPpSI8rk74zbJgxP_4qq5I_HEYct6GqYoLApT89dX9Nc6OdxxJ_/s1600/IMAGE_413.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGEPar7biUB52hcDcmyB_FXWDZdOsH5JF6b2ydmlgO-FJF58b6HzeQsRAClFaEjzeQyTRekDCaKKDcsnWe7y8bmqYC_sPpSI8rk74zbJgxP_4qq5I_HEYct6GqYoLApT89dX9Nc6OdxxJ_/s1600/IMAGE_413.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The last 3 are the magical pixie dusts. These are a spinoff from the original pixie dusts released last year but have more holographic chunkier glitters. When the magical pixies first released this year I purchased 2 and was not impressed. The colors and glitters were amazing but I found the formula to be too thick, lumpy and difficult to apply without dabbing the polish on your nail. Since then I haven't purchased anymore magical pixies until this collection.<br />
<br />
The 3 below basically have the same formula, easy to work with and full of beautiful holographic hex<br />
glitters. However I was a little disappointed with how they dried compare to prior magical/pixie dusts. These all dried with a gloss. Some may call it a semi-matte but I beg to differ. When I applied topcoat it basically looked the same. And when I applied a matte top coat it took away the holographic effect. What a bummer! All in all I love the colors and they are unique to my collection. I just wish they dried more matte like the original pixie dusts.<br />
<br />
Imogen is a black magical pixie dust with hex holo glitters. I wore this as a full manicure yesterday while doing some serious cooking and by the end of the night I had little to no chipping so I was impressed. I used 2 coats and no top coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDmU0n56L7OF6YRI5DH_fC9mr2P2wQeDopNs0lTPgWxiJBMlM96wljecVxSuhunHbhexdiw3A0rniQC-Ucc_Jl7KfPaq7z4bhygw-LykGF6UjdT2-nkW3beXVczOos-DU9mT710RCjVEVs/s1600/IMAGE_408.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDmU0n56L7OF6YRI5DH_fC9mr2P2wQeDopNs0lTPgWxiJBMlM96wljecVxSuhunHbhexdiw3A0rniQC-Ucc_Jl7KfPaq7z4bhygw-LykGF6UjdT2-nkW3beXVczOos-DU9mT710RCjVEVs/s1600/IMAGE_408.jpg" height="283" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I wanted to see how the polish would change if I added top coat and unfortunately there's not much of a difference. If you do want a glossier finish you'll have to add at least 2-3 top coats due to the gritty finish.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE1-aRr-oPLTfaQPvfwqvqOOaKhyphenhyphenAFW1FJvVr0BJPAgUm9r3Rv-urvIZRIaGaj7GeW2sPYstAMPas5SQxK3vxBLNBKEeDzRe18StOHe43HSfykP_QSC5iOBO8ag7wSOxbVf-m8bZeLyFuG/s1600/IMAGE_415.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE1-aRr-oPLTfaQPvfwqvqOOaKhyphenhyphenAFW1FJvVr0BJPAgUm9r3Rv-urvIZRIaGaj7GeW2sPYstAMPas5SQxK3vxBLNBKEeDzRe18StOHe43HSfykP_QSC5iOBO8ag7wSOxbVf-m8bZeLyFuG/s1600/IMAGE_415.jpg" height="287" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Thea is a plum magical pixie dust with hex holo glitters. The formula was great and I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm-Q3NTVYXtqppHOmBpXmeXRpcGD5mi3TgZrvqw_BZru28qjv4HCoFThX_SN6cjpd1Oc-PpRNiZ2poGMajguXjzacxdi40eregv4Cj4zYW3rZvay3isTbkX_QuOoiBQXxi1zS95yGcASSW/s1600/IMAGE_411.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm-Q3NTVYXtqppHOmBpXmeXRpcGD5mi3TgZrvqw_BZru28qjv4HCoFThX_SN6cjpd1Oc-PpRNiZ2poGMajguXjzacxdi40eregv4Cj4zYW3rZvay3isTbkX_QuOoiBQXxi1zS95yGcASSW/s1600/IMAGE_411.jpg" height="296" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I added a matte top coat and I do like the result but it does take away the holographic effect.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBkczQRNrAhrDmxKAzxTb77gLjLe7fZU5-Ma3Ub_n2W38tMsTvAq_NeMfa88Yox16RyMIpWu9E76LrjmKZ5zov1hEkh-tfbWgHZ4WQkdAnOO7tFVUqt70w0J9FAmVO8_jygrfzOt_a24Bm/s1600/IMAGE_416.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBkczQRNrAhrDmxKAzxTb77gLjLe7fZU5-Ma3Ub_n2W38tMsTvAq_NeMfa88Yox16RyMIpWu9E76LrjmKZ5zov1hEkh-tfbWgHZ4WQkdAnOO7tFVUqt70w0J9FAmVO8_jygrfzOt_a24Bm/s1600/IMAGE_416.jpg" height="292" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
My favorite is Nori, a blue magical pixie dust with holo hex glitters. Again the formula was awesome and I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFRLLMeg6kYPkXhX3dFhzacdsrjK0WuQdY1nq-5cE9oRI8MTxc00ao93EMx68jXeRiEF2QZ27zjGHk_3RhAAmOpo9oI4LHtTVbDwTtf8tHydpZ4eFVl44o3CaL8yHkQpmLyUd0QSKhmRoK/s1600/IMAGE_410.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFRLLMeg6kYPkXhX3dFhzacdsrjK0WuQdY1nq-5cE9oRI8MTxc00ao93EMx68jXeRiEF2QZ27zjGHk_3RhAAmOpo9oI4LHtTVbDwTtf8tHydpZ4eFVl44o3CaL8yHkQpmLyUd0QSKhmRoK/s1600/IMAGE_410.jpg" height="320" width="318" /></a></div>
<br />
I also added a matte top coat even though it takes away the holo effect. Overall this was my favorite look from the whole collection.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Hy211F4pp3LvysRwF_yuamRsvScEdpXmNmnnKGik1vIIUhXDP7Hnf3i5p3PmcIGKxEwz5hCt1Reufdy531NuywjJtjQofhkhDCPxwz7Dlh-QFoVhpHmNlsuAXueIYrL102ub5wnjq_fS/s1600/IMAGE_409.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Hy211F4pp3LvysRwF_yuamRsvScEdpXmNmnnKGik1vIIUhXDP7Hnf3i5p3PmcIGKxEwz5hCt1Reufdy531NuywjJtjQofhkhDCPxwz7Dlh-QFoVhpHmNlsuAXueIYrL102ub5wnjq_fS/s1600/IMAGE_409.jpg" height="320" width="249" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
My top picks are Nori (plus matte top coat) and Willa.<br />
These are available now on Zoya's website for $10 each. You can purchase the 6 set for $57.<br />

Halloween is quickly approaching us this Friday so today I'll be sharing a couple of polishes newly released from this years collection.<br />
<br />
China Glaze usually has the best Halloween collections and I look forward to seeing what's new each year. This year however I was a little disappointed which will explain why I only picked up two, I Love Your Guts and But Of Corpse. I can't lie, I picked up these two because of their name and uniqueness. I truly have nothing like these polishes in my collection. Formula wise they are both the same. They both dry with a matte finish so I did I used top coat on them. Also when applying they dry very quickly and if you don't paint with a steady hand you'll end up having patchy spots.<br />
For both photos I used 2 coats plus 2 top coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I Love Your Guts is a pinky red polish with black glitters that dries matte.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXTjLCWx2E5Oa5sZRzZC6e5KJ2dKwHbl6eLMesEEMb5lNkJxBuCM1CoDvEK6hvMt8CntNa40CHyXEQvb9ORU_yYDWtOkX6Fc4lTmSci-dL8GsvylVeTkrWe1R2wdtb0WvaQCi8MWLgTDYG/s1600/IMAGE_397.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXTjLCWx2E5Oa5sZRzZC6e5KJ2dKwHbl6eLMesEEMb5lNkJxBuCM1CoDvEK6hvMt8CntNa40CHyXEQvb9ORU_yYDWtOkX6Fc4lTmSci-dL8GsvylVeTkrWe1R2wdtb0WvaQCi8MWLgTDYG/s1600/IMAGE_397.jpg" height="320" width="284" /></a></div>
<br />
But Of Corpse is a green polish with black glitters also drying matte. This polish stained my nails terribly. Luckily I was to get off the yellow stains with a real good buff.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8Ek_7vzeLKjT24iCwN0mgSsEQCwXLFZXnG_IlChK1fGY_aBCSaVF-5Sq0a7YdPL_OhoZB6xygNPBDXZ2sN48YsNxrvajEOCCFdPjksyRJ2RNr3-kWjDDvx_wJh_uJG2eBnfTDO2L6RdUW/s1600/IMAGE_398.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8Ek_7vzeLKjT24iCwN0mgSsEQCwXLFZXnG_IlChK1fGY_aBCSaVF-5Sq0a7YdPL_OhoZB6xygNPBDXZ2sN48YsNxrvajEOCCFdPjksyRJ2RNr3-kWjDDvx_wJh_uJG2eBnfTDO2L6RdUW/s1600/IMAGE_398.jpg" height="320" width="289" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
These polishes are just not my cup of tea and I'll probably end up giving these to my daughter or her friend. The polishes seem kind of childish in my opinion. I picked up both at my local Sally Beauty and each retailed around $3.99.<br />

I know Mondays can sometimes be a drag so today I'm bringing some fun pastels for your reading pleasure.<br />
<br />
B Squared Lacquer is an indie polish maker I ran across on Instagram. During the spring she released a set of cremes, all pastel and spring like. I had my eye out on these and meant to purchase them earlier but I totally forgot. Thankfully her recent anniversary sale reminded me to pick these bad boys up and everything on her site was 40% off (who can say no to a great sale!?) Pastels are my favorite colors of polish and I wear them year round, not just in spring or summer. The collection consists of 6 colors and today I have 5 to show you. Check out a description of each after the jump.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifpX5XyyRC0KwXW_30csyHGv6pSFi3QZ2YD-K_G2pZwDUcIWvORMUEwpREhZFUoUL8Krk1p5nCL25XkHYAOe6qgxsalwFL-ZAUtPF41dq0wRBXz-4zEgonQUcvfCa7FggvfkNFGaZZDUXE/s1600/IMAGE_367.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifpX5XyyRC0KwXW_30csyHGv6pSFi3QZ2YD-K_G2pZwDUcIWvORMUEwpREhZFUoUL8Krk1p5nCL25XkHYAOe6qgxsalwFL-ZAUtPF41dq0wRBXz-4zEgonQUcvfCa7FggvfkNFGaZZDUXE/s1600/IMAGE_367.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
Rain Boots is a light blue creamy pastel. This was my favorite from the collection. The formula was great and easy to work with. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4kwztGTWXGc0ZRwF6bjhy7CckgSd3_wzfg5LTXGK5cXHJf05Wn0QzySmipEelmVXofP5Z-opDbwKFAc9pgOKToredqxlxTqa8seQZF2Es8_OSYoj4Pa_0piFGzxK9O5r6QiGIponZcY4s/s1600/IMAGE_363.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4kwztGTWXGc0ZRwF6bjhy7CckgSd3_wzfg5LTXGK5cXHJf05Wn0QzySmipEelmVXofP5Z-opDbwKFAc9pgOKToredqxlxTqa8seQZF2Es8_OSYoj4Pa_0piFGzxK9O5r6QiGIponZcY4s/s1600/IMAGE_363.jpg" height="320" width="267" /></a></div>
<br />
Bees Knees is a light yellow pastel creme. Such a wonderful formula for a yellow polish! This will definitely be my go to yellow from now on. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijFXoaYj83nrVg2YrmTKQkXd-SrPnbESkgzmAYhhyphenhyphenvANJHhmeGFf7RPExOtR0UHeFBuUynWwguZzkjeAc9E94e0SQLbVTsckea2nss6jTHY28H-GdxfW0iVVRvn8PfKrzDT4Po8siPZHG-/s1600/IMAGE_362.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijFXoaYj83nrVg2YrmTKQkXd-SrPnbESkgzmAYhhyphenhyphenvANJHhmeGFf7RPExOtR0UHeFBuUynWwguZzkjeAc9E94e0SQLbVTsckea2nss6jTHY28H-GdxfW0iVVRvn8PfKrzDT4Po8siPZHG-/s1600/IMAGE_362.jpg" height="320" width="292" /></a></div>
<br />
Funny Bunny is a pink pastel creme. This one kind of reminds me of a laffy taffy in strawberry, one of my favorite candies when I was younger. Again the formula was great and not too thick. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_En0ujz_jYNVYpBXo9aLnBQdZP6F_tD9ZI186zRElPda-_sxxUz81KYdig4cEIYR8XqKF4fQ8SPXb_Gkn48KVU9PGiXHJ4sJ7e70UhNy6Kf9rXURuKoTFzmBs5MCogNUuL-N5c4ZLKe52/s1600/IMAGE_365.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_En0ujz_jYNVYpBXo9aLnBQdZP6F_tD9ZI186zRElPda-_sxxUz81KYdig4cEIYR8XqKF4fQ8SPXb_Gkn48KVU9PGiXHJ4sJ7e70UhNy6Kf9rXURuKoTFzmBs5MCogNUuL-N5c4ZLKe52/s1600/IMAGE_365.jpg" height="320" width="302" /></a></div>
<br />
Sprout is a lime green pastel with a lot of blue undertones. This one too had an excellent formula! I used 2 coats here.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUV6RwRqBnHQ77_x58PArv_p6PQexKtIFyIK7K3L5tpiXkh6G7hHDRAHB7zuRjvA4HydwXFcy1-oGixgIHIVQEs-0ZtNhXXSbHHCjjpsdMw-XW0vCT0QF-4Tz3aL3EehpfQP6jierVRI31/s1600/IMAGE_364.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUV6RwRqBnHQ77_x58PArv_p6PQexKtIFyIK7K3L5tpiXkh6G7hHDRAHB7zuRjvA4HydwXFcy1-oGixgIHIVQEs-0ZtNhXXSbHHCjjpsdMw-XW0vCT0QF-4Tz3aL3EehpfQP6jierVRI31/s1600/IMAGE_364.jpg" height="320" width="280" /></a></div>
<br />
Fuzzy Navel is a peach creamy pastel. This one was a little thick but not to hard to work with.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I used Fuzzy Navel, Funny Bunny and Rain Boots for a fun colorful gradient.<br />

These polishes are still available <a href="http://bsquaredlacquer.bigcartel.com/">here</a>. The mini bottles retail for $5 each and full size $9. I opted for the minis and they were super easy to work with. The brushes were just the right size for my nail beds and weren't short like some minis I've dealt with.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-32783189213448117222014-10-19T17:28:00.002-07:002014-10-19T17:28:39.242-07:00OPI Rock Goddess - HalloweenHope you all are enjoying your weekend! Today I'm sharing a mini set collection I picked up last winter at my local TJ Maxx, Rock Goddess. It's OPI's 2013 Halloween release which consists of 4 mini polishes. The set also came with a cute skull braided bracelet.<br />
<br />
The polishes in this set aren't anything to go running to the store for. To be truthful I only purchased it because it was super cheap and the bracelet was kind of cute at the time. Check out a description of each polish after the jump.<br />

<br />
<br />
Yellopalooza is yellow creme. The formula was just ok, it needed 3-4 coats to level out good.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOIXXzAEHGphyphenhyphenXnGLxxIeSje3tpxSPBdJ3OUjvtzc4arqYNrGXrQKorZpEsAdydObjuj8K_1Up5GPwnniZTTWRAlRBiDvaYxfdzPDPdINs4aW5vj5AX4gGgjXQPvgm3qP-tfDKqCoD2lTO/s1600/IMAGE_347.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOIXXzAEHGphyphenhyphenXnGLxxIeSje3tpxSPBdJ3OUjvtzc4arqYNrGXrQKorZpEsAdydObjuj8K_1Up5GPwnniZTTWRAlRBiDvaYxfdzPDPdINs4aW5vj5AX4gGgjXQPvgm3qP-tfDKqCoD2lTO/s1600/IMAGE_347.jpg" height="246" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Stand In Lime For Days is described as a citrus lime green. This was very sheer and needed 3 coats, but formula wise it was ok.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt8C1UhWUN5aQGfHKqadw2L8ojkOyJXtBr7UulNit7CTOjjXGE0azsCwTzMWjCNLHXV7vr1izrGGxJlgvDrJPgmMPBUbqVEfj59xXK3RjROrCTUzSMG9VyJd2ArIFGRX25FsyEXXJOSAqa/s1600/IMAGE_348.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt8C1UhWUN5aQGfHKqadw2L8ojkOyJXtBr7UulNit7CTOjjXGE0azsCwTzMWjCNLHXV7vr1izrGGxJlgvDrJPgmMPBUbqVEfj59xXK3RjROrCTUzSMG9VyJd2ArIFGRX25FsyEXXJOSAqa/s1600/IMAGE_348.jpg" height="274" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Rolling Bones is a platinum metallic. This too was very sheer and need 2-3 coats on some nails.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgslo-w-Sh4ft4IkMXUxtX0ihWQafkhPouNFIEzXh0lPKzT9LRM4qWBijrmGMoSG46NzoVkqcBWoKH6i42-ZqX0S-ZyP7A5S6qdAsiVC8iWJNYx61vboLZS1svsJrmqMwfK9xPPstjWZ40l/s1600/IMAGE_349.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgslo-w-Sh4ft4IkMXUxtX0ihWQafkhPouNFIEzXh0lPKzT9LRM4qWBijrmGMoSG46NzoVkqcBWoKH6i42-ZqX0S-ZyP7A5S6qdAsiVC8iWJNYx61vboLZS1svsJrmqMwfK9xPPstjWZ40l/s1600/IMAGE_349.jpg" height="279" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The Drummer Is Hot is a bright fiery orange. Formula wise this was the best of the collection needing only 2 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRcv9x8Pjz3eJoRhmPcAPOEOBRAKUSNstDk73NFVEFq3PnzpvKy5VMZIbGuzrGfjVuH0i4GhjGayeCE-7E2NalrN1AJGho0CBkIE-gwazq2jJuc8L5Q9NVuE6ZHD5QQ1wo_hqtQUJc8e0U/s1600/IMAGE_346.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRcv9x8Pjz3eJoRhmPcAPOEOBRAKUSNstDk73NFVEFq3PnzpvKy5VMZIbGuzrGfjVuH0i4GhjGayeCE-7E2NalrN1AJGho0CBkIE-gwazq2jJuc8L5Q9NVuE6ZHD5QQ1wo_hqtQUJc8e0U/s1600/IMAGE_346.jpg" height="263" width="320" /></a></div>

You can still get this set on eBay or Amazon. I think it's a cute stocking stuffer or secret Santa gift.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-31003017973957950372014-10-18T17:23:00.001-07:002014-10-18T17:26:46.740-07:00Zoya Ignite - Fall 2014Happy Saturday! Today I spent most of my day organizing and un cluttering my nail polish, big fun! I've been thinking about selling the polishes I don't use anymore, though I find it very difficult to part with some of my favorite brands, OPI and Zoya. With that said, today I have the 1st half of Zoya's Fall collection for 2014, Ignite. This part of the collection consists of 6 beautiful shimmers. Check out a description of each polish after the jump.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoUc87QtgueSLXRVWb3oIj5PP10sqg6QmYJhXLGA19G6N40hxvLDtaytT_1TSPzDdd7n5BaZp9XVgdtQBKNStS41jj5i7TUnpLqHAvXYslszFa9fEEGU110fZgaXiMwb8VstZ_U5SaC0q3/s1600/IMAGE_336.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoUc87QtgueSLXRVWb3oIj5PP10sqg6QmYJhXLGA19G6N40hxvLDtaytT_1TSPzDdd7n5BaZp9XVgdtQBKNStS41jj5i7TUnpLqHAvXYslszFa9fEEGU110fZgaXiMwb8VstZ_U5SaC0q3/s1600/IMAGE_336.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Autumn is a copper shimmer. Everything about this one screams Fall. This reminds me of a Deborah Lippmann from a couple years ago, Phoenix Rising. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh821dm7LsEW0lFJkWChJbd3aNBxAR-1K1jJWTb0YALiJYbO2lPaaTyDJ0LPj7fFmcZHSUwOqHkywRNRUIkuIetdCjnPNEVpbwRTHgZqju-UwXMtOln7wwIsTtzgindCzbw04kB2sWLxyBH/s1600/IMAGE_333.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh821dm7LsEW0lFJkWChJbd3aNBxAR-1K1jJWTb0YALiJYbO2lPaaTyDJ0LPj7fFmcZHSUwOqHkywRNRUIkuIetdCjnPNEVpbwRTHgZqju-UwXMtOln7wwIsTtzgindCzbw04kB2sWLxyBH/s1600/IMAGE_333.jpg" height="270" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
India is a burgundy shimmer that looks to be purple. The formula was great and I used 2 coats.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzi2hOxWOUC2f2nyltuHXfH7feaQn2kKFzcL0RxbNc12hUq_jjfCqQyuAzZAJCFG2mRNr1jtgMfFMG1eU7jGqx0UGUllpb39J3QhfL0O_Uao2TwUuzFcF8m56s-Olpv4Y48_OqynUWoHUE/s1600/IMAGE_334.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzi2hOxWOUC2f2nyltuHXfH7feaQn2kKFzcL0RxbNc12hUq_jjfCqQyuAzZAJCFG2mRNr1jtgMfFMG1eU7jGqx0UGUllpb39J3QhfL0O_Uao2TwUuzFcF8m56s-Olpv4Y48_OqynUWoHUE/s1600/IMAGE_334.jpg" height="276" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Sansa is a dark purple shimmer. Again this had a great formula. The first coat went on a little sheer but it built to opacity with 2.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpED3Gflxtt9HUoTfe6wN_7y4UGKNUhMy9EGQ666Wh4MNVkbxq8tPcImDFmyq3QUsSP4kR9H-LTK58xJ59SCQC9AQr4dENdlW882u3vS6bCP1guDxcZbfuHd_g3D74DUhovn_CtGSD928q/s1600/IMAGE_331.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpED3Gflxtt9HUoTfe6wN_7y4UGKNUhMy9EGQ666Wh4MNVkbxq8tPcImDFmyq3QUsSP4kR9H-LTK58xJ59SCQC9AQr4dENdlW882u3vS6bCP1guDxcZbfuHd_g3D74DUhovn_CtGSD928q/s1600/IMAGE_331.jpg" height="313" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Teigen is a cranberry shimmer. I love all of these that the shimmer is just as strong in the bottle as on the nail. This one also had a great consistency and easy to apply. I used 2 coats for the picture below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUNNq681ayd6NPy7aBB3xh6GaxHjlcCYuYum3bXW3pBcxYEZgLiuMwqy5GamRhXdDZQoIB8l-s2DtDDPbPiNyQ0wGwIITK3JK43FPQDDCZjW6SIbC76RX0nSw_GrSn-V80aMtrr3mqAm9u/s1600/IMAGE_332.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUNNq681ayd6NPy7aBB3xh6GaxHjlcCYuYum3bXW3pBcxYEZgLiuMwqy5GamRhXdDZQoIB8l-s2DtDDPbPiNyQ0wGwIITK3JK43FPQDDCZjW6SIbC76RX0nSw_GrSn-V80aMtrr3mqAm9u/s1600/IMAGE_332.jpg" height="282" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Remy is a dark bluish/green shimmer. This one had so much depth and was one of my favorites from the collection. It did stain a little bit so I would recommend a couple base coats. I used 2 coats below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEgf5WeJ0ER1x7K7UJ9RulZH6L_lWOeJos1TYzO5Uu2DCtYwEo-NO81JQKKU1M1QTvqDejs31SFF0V0cSe5jC6BxhSZdkUkU_vlJfFJhknEckR4-IA2Do1jL9GZ8i_oFIYJke7T_lETmV1/s1600/IMAGE_335.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEgf5WeJ0ER1x7K7UJ9RulZH6L_lWOeJos1TYzO5Uu2DCtYwEo-NO81JQKKU1M1QTvqDejs31SFF0V0cSe5jC6BxhSZdkUkU_vlJfFJhknEckR4-IA2Do1jL9GZ8i_oFIYJke7T_lETmV1/s1600/IMAGE_335.jpg" height="284" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Last but not least is Yuna. Ahhh words cannot describe how gorgeous this one is. It's a blue/gray with gold shimmer. At first I thought it was a dupe to Yara but this is like its gray sister. This is my favorite of the collection. I used 2 coats for the photo below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN3SHeGVIBjUkpIbMMoKZrp4loFYBPc4BAyYZ-vbIMXf_CDvrt1rrO3tVi7loqa6F2qWMqAwjjVqblrHezXIrSHispaja5jJTicm-vs4YRMqmSB4NHOFAEskHxDvxJv-XvWG2Hl2-qe_w3/s1600/IMAGE_330.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN3SHeGVIBjUkpIbMMoKZrp4loFYBPc4BAyYZ-vbIMXf_CDvrt1rrO3tVi7loqa6F2qWMqAwjjVqblrHezXIrSHispaja5jJTicm-vs4YRMqmSB4NHOFAEskHxDvxJv-XvWG2Hl2-qe_w3/s1600/IMAGE_330.jpg" height="273" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I loved the consistency and formula of them all but Yuna was hands down the standout of the collection for me. 2nd pick would be Remy for its depth. The Ignite collection is available at Ulta and Zoya.com for $9 each.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-39819590377123602532014-10-16T06:29:00.001-07:002014-10-16T06:29:07.976-07:00Illamasqua RaindropsGood morning! Last post I forgot to mention I cut my nails very short due to a break. I'm not a fan of uneven nails and after I broke one on my Cinderella hand, it was awkward having one nub and 9 talons so off they went.<br />
<br />
I mention the chop because I still have an arsenal of photos with my talons, like today's post, Illamasqua Raindrops. This is a polish I purchased over 1 year ago after lusting for it a long time. This polish was only available in Europe, was then discontinued and then re released with availability in the States.<br />
<br />
It's a gorgeous light blue/gray jelly like with white flakes. The formula is a little thick but workable. It takes 2-3 coats for full opacity. This polish is beautiful, especially for fall and winter.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7vS2hSF3z68P6fxAhlweF4NzXteBGJu6sPWjFn0M80KwFV6kWmeEPp20qXItARHwMEc9o1hfjaGZzQacdmvztzLfECVz-kucz_xFV6nzzoaCmf43NzYwist6-pYGfyiW23Mgbre4I40u_/s1600/IMAGE_305.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7vS2hSF3z68P6fxAhlweF4NzXteBGJu6sPWjFn0M80KwFV6kWmeEPp20qXItARHwMEc9o1hfjaGZzQacdmvztzLfECVz-kucz_xFV6nzzoaCmf43NzYwist6-pYGfyiW23Mgbre4I40u_/s1600/IMAGE_305.jpg" height="320" width="277" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
There is a sister version of this polish, pink raindrops. I purchased both at the same time and unfortunately do not have photos to share of the pink version. I have tried to swatch this polish on 2 separate occasions with no luck. Maybe I have a crappy bottle but the formula was thick and lumpy and impossible to work with. It's a shame because this is a high end polish that got a lot of hype. I haven't tried using thinner yet, my frustration wouldn't allow the patience.<br />
<br />
I believe this polish is available still. I purchased mine at Sephora for $17.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-27218420788338372512014-10-14T11:43:00.001-07:002014-10-14T11:43:44.907-07:00Essie Dress To KiltHey lacquered lovers! Today I'll be sharing Essie's fall collection, Dress to Kilt. The collection consists of 6 creme polishes and I'm loving them all. The consistency of each polish is very similar, creamy and nearly opaque in 1 coat. Check out each polish after the jump.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA59Ry_pYbRiDaUTsNCH1W8g7maDfM47ke87yH-PpTjZC9Cmjp94VCjgvw7XxxpL0MIV2pZ6J0eIK1pifc3sjhTSGRUhaRrDuGxdSJzQOBbROUtia20WOVDK46aRySS9PMOaxQUBAwIiFW/s1600/IMAGE_299.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjA59Ry_pYbRiDaUTsNCH1W8g7maDfM47ke87yH-PpTjZC9Cmjp94VCjgvw7XxxpL0MIV2pZ6J0eIK1pifc3sjhTSGRUhaRrDuGxdSJzQOBbROUtia20WOVDK46aRySS9PMOaxQUBAwIiFW/s1600/IMAGE_299.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Dress To Kilt is a red creme. It takes 2 coats for full opacity. Even in 2 coats you can see some vnl. The formula was amazing and easy to work with.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7Xy3S4YxjGnw_Jc0-Vx6lVdQ_WL9C2L-m7D7Y1BBm_itj4y3DIuyqh9PfTpTH2lxJG1_r-jdjuSdFpW7_R7SItuCyaUulAtnAoAaPLtX1wLkorUyXg_FN6YuafFJgUK23sHLB1JZH_CVc/s1600/IMAGE_298.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7Xy3S4YxjGnw_Jc0-Vx6lVdQ_WL9C2L-m7D7Y1BBm_itj4y3DIuyqh9PfTpTH2lxJG1_r-jdjuSdFpW7_R7SItuCyaUulAtnAoAaPLtX1wLkorUyXg_FN6YuafFJgUK23sHLB1JZH_CVc/s1600/IMAGE_298.jpg" height="243" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Fall In Line is a muted green creme. I love this color!! It's almost opaque in 1 coat but I used 2 here. Colors like this are awesome for fall. It's almost reminiscent of Essie Sew Pysched which is another favorite of mine.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXDvQXzkgYETLVcRB60DvaJRAdmSwVQk1D9TQGA62WICZZq5iFACjsrvnVxzp0Lnc3h5M2GpmErd5LRi4k9byOnmN0w2SGuGrb8z6iX6_sJzy4tiGPDfumG7IVwkwHk-K93bd7PoHy6Irk/s1600/IMAGE_294.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXDvQXzkgYETLVcRB60DvaJRAdmSwVQk1D9TQGA62WICZZq5iFACjsrvnVxzp0Lnc3h5M2GpmErd5LRi4k9byOnmN0w2SGuGrb8z6iX6_sJzy4tiGPDfumG7IVwkwHk-K93bd7PoHy6Irk/s1600/IMAGE_294.jpg" height="249" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Take It Outside is a muted gray creme. This would make a great base for nail art. Again it's nearly opaque in 1 coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC0mec8VQmOOKzE9KGkTijHIdz2wqn4YPFN62d1-SBFg11wWhP59vJE8P6NlSXg_a2ZDpF8NRPoFwjbw1mMUWy5KItswSzsTKhWTh96SkXd1OiDbrK6Z4fmll6lRyLbR-zF-K692DJalps/s1600/IMAGE_293.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC0mec8VQmOOKzE9KGkTijHIdz2wqn4YPFN62d1-SBFg11wWhP59vJE8P6NlSXg_a2ZDpF8NRPoFwjbw1mMUWy5KItswSzsTKhWTh96SkXd1OiDbrK6Z4fmll6lRyLbR-zF-K692DJalps/s1600/IMAGE_293.jpg" height="255" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The Perfect Cover Up is a dark teal. This is my least favorite of the collection only because dark colors aren't usually my cup of tea. However the formula was awesome, opaque in just 1 coat.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglne2Y-jO5oFcEoJ_N5E8wPkmIXEWhVQwjb2FQ9D2bznEsGXkQn5z-bz3MCco13dMfZZJQ-etVZ5bwhY-a1TGt2YkvEqKMNazaeD03z3wPHZSAOyV_ynw4OGAwbQL157l3SHVPrsLWH9Fy/s1600/IMAGE_295.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglne2Y-jO5oFcEoJ_N5E8wPkmIXEWhVQwjb2FQ9D2bznEsGXkQn5z-bz3MCco13dMfZZJQ-etVZ5bwhY-a1TGt2YkvEqKMNazaeD03z3wPHZSAOyV_ynw4OGAwbQL157l3SHVPrsLWH9Fy/s1600/IMAGE_295.jpg" height="257" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Partner In Crime is a chocolate creme and opaque again in just one coat. The formula was amazing and easy to work with.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7PYG-iyw1h99Bnb5jzCrdzKp_OkdIOcguL8f22o81J-7N3aSXA16qkIV1oHJnbQ5JKbM4hCkcjF5kCK_8NBRduTR0r-l4405U7WAn2UOHMSeWPnkX_ZctEVHqyzda8bBpByUCCPZ2vKV7/s1600/IMAGE_296.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7PYG-iyw1h99Bnb5jzCrdzKp_OkdIOcguL8f22o81J-7N3aSXA16qkIV1oHJnbQ5JKbM4hCkcjF5kCK_8NBRduTR0r-l4405U7WAn2UOHMSeWPnkX_ZctEVHqyzda8bBpByUCCPZ2vKV7/s1600/IMAGE_296.jpg" height="295" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Lastly, Style Cartel is a navy creme. This was hands down my favorite and a shocker. As I said earlier darks aren't usually my favorite but there was something about this one that really stood out from the collection. It was super shiny without top coat, had a great formula and just opaque in one coat! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJo1Xmwx5MWtYypzbE_d_DCDlN_jqcCIPNVtTjJYluzFiJFL-BgqIp35ASQAhKyH5dJ4wRT0pisGrfDCVCxsdfGumHnOtvOnZ5b8o1ChlUz60f50DDPGqgETDFx9vG4GZkwjnDL_BrZmaT/s1600/IMAGE_297.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJo1Xmwx5MWtYypzbE_d_DCDlN_jqcCIPNVtTjJYluzFiJFL-BgqIp35ASQAhKyH5dJ4wRT0pisGrfDCVCxsdfGumHnOtvOnZ5b8o1ChlUz60f50DDPGqgETDFx9vG4GZkwjnDL_BrZmaT/s1600/IMAGE_297.jpg" height="278" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I know I may sound like a record on repeat but I was very impressed with the formulation on all of these polishes. I'm happy to see the improvements Essie has made over the past year with their polishes and will be looking forward to future collections.<br />
<br />
This collection is now available at major drug stores and retail for $9 each.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15076993254846437464noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5870701335704773915.post-9882928356897649792014-10-02T15:42:00.003-07:002014-10-02T15:42:53.057-07:00OPI Pink Of Hearts 2014As some of you may know, October is breast cancer awareness month. In honor of the same I will be sharing OPI Pink of Hearts 2014 duo. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Since 2006 OPI has released a duo to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. They also donate $25,000 to The Susan G Komen organization, a nonprofit source of funding for the fight against breast cancer. Pretty awesome! The duo comes in with 2 pink polishes and this year included a glitter key chain nail file. Each individual swatch is below the jump. </div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Mod About you is a light creamy pink. This is actual apart of their core line and has been on my wish list for awhile now so I was glad to see it apart of the duo. The formula was meh. It was bearable because the pink is so pretty but I found it to be difficult to work with on the second coat. I used two coats for the photo shown. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The Power of Pink is a light pink jelly base with white, pink and fuschia glitters. I used one coat over Mod About You. By itself it would probably take 3-4 coats for full opacity. The formula was very nice and had good coverage for a glitter. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
This duo retails for $16.95 and is available now at stores like Ulta, Regis Salon, JC Penny or Trade Secret. </div>

China Glaze Boundary of Memory is a gorgeous micro glitter packed with copper, black and gold glitters. It was released in the limited edition The Giver collection. It's fully dense so you can get this opaque in 2 easy coats. China glaze does the best micro glitters! Top coat is definitely a must with this one as gritty glitter eats it up.<br />
